Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you recently removed some content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Battle of the Netherlands. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators can block users from editing if they repeatedly vandalize. Thank you. The Banner talk 03:14, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Complaint, unsourced changes

edit

There's a big problem on Wikipedia with editors calculating their own figures and inserting them into cited specification sections, even against figures cited directly.

Since you did it twice in a short time and one more in the past, you should consider following wartime reports.

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Hideki Tojo, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 20:28, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

SECOND NOTICE

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Communist Party of the Soviet Union, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. FINAL WARNING

edit

You have been asked repeatedly to stop marking all of your edits as minor, yet you persist in doing so with edits that are not minor, most recently at Paris Commune. Marking all of your edits as minor is deceptive and rude to other editors. This is your final opportunity to either stop this behavior or explain yourself here on your talk page. If there is something about the idea of "minor edit" that you don't understand, please ask here and we'll do our best to explain it to you. Otherwise, the next time you inappropriately mark an edit as minor, you will likely be blocked from editing and your edit will be reverted. Thank you. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Proletarian Democracy. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Sundayclose (talk) 15:07, 9 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

As you've continued to make problematic edits without responding to any concerns, I've blocked you for 72 hours. Resumption of this behavior after your block expires will result in longer blocks. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

edit

Hello, Jss199. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
