Not only are the GIFs ugly, they're inaccessible. Instead, we should brainstorm a replacement that doesn't rely on an infinitely looping GIF. I invite you to the talk page to do so. Remsense ‥  07:19, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think these GIFs show standard English handwriting cursive more perfectly and are very useful for people learning cursive. Sihjee (talk) 07:26, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Accessibility is not an optional "suggestion". The GIFs have stayed off these pages and there's at least a working consensus among editors who work on these articles to exclude them, so please do not add them again—it will be considered edit warring Remsense ‥  07:28, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think this form is the most intuitive and must take into account that some people have no idea how to write these letters of the alphabet. Sihjee (talk) 07:28, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia is not a how-to guide. Please start discussion on the talk pages before making further changes in this vein. Remsense ‥  07:28, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oh, to be clear: they would likely be replaced with a modern video file: per tie accessibility guidance linked above, the important thing is that animated content have available controls to stop and start the movement at will. Remsense ‥  07:35, 22 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
