LoP in UK

edit

Hi there, I have a suggestion. Could we add a little introduction for each section in the list with a few details about significant parkruns in that area that have a WP:RS? I'm thinking something like: [Insert parkrun name here] was set up in [date] and has a record attendance of [number]. The parkrun takes in 3 scenic laps of the hills of [somewhere] and starts and finishes at the [something]. The parkrun was the first to be set up in Scotland and has been very popular since.

This is only a suggestion and that explanation could be a little different, but I think it might be good to do this just to expand the list a bit. Regards, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 16:09, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

That is a good idea. There used to be a longer introduction to each section that mentioned the size of the area covered and population. It was kind of boring and when someone deleted it I didn't undo it. Szzuk (talk) 16:23, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Tony Ricca on WikiCommons

edit

I'm contacting you because you voted delete on the article on Tony Ricca. Over on the Commons there are a number of photos, one of which was used in a draft here that was speedily deleted under C4. I therefore believe all the photos there need to be deleted. I have nominated all of them, but Georgivac (who was banned from Wikipedia for socking) is still insisting on the commons that he is notable. I need help with delete votes. The Commons pictures are these; [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7] and [8]. 2001:8003:5999:6D00:B5DD:CEDF:C253:4630 (talk) 21:43, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Russia: War, Peace and Diplomacy

edit

The article Russia: War, Peace and Diplomacy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is almost exclusively a summary of the book, with disproportionate weight given to analysis and summary of one chapter. Only two third-party sources that discuss the book, and only one is related to the book - the other is an article that cites this book.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. creffett (talk) 02:40, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Szzuk

Thank you for creating Russia: War, Peace and Diplomacy.

User:Doomsdayer520, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thank you for this new article, but note that other editors have noted its excessive detail. It is not necessary to summarize the entire book, and you may even have spoilers that would discourage someone from buying it.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Uday Foundation

edit

Hi, Uday Foundation page was published on June 22, 2015, Somehow, it was redirected to Rahul Verma in 2018. I have created a fresh draft Draft:Uday_Foundation and submitted it for review. It shows that there is a severe backlog for fresh article for submission. Also I tried to write in fresh words. May I request you to please review the same if possible?
