Is it OK for one definition to be dependent/inherently refer to another definition of the same word, as (5) and (6) for English/Noun? (I'm being picky, but its a dictionary). — This comment was unsigned.

I prefer to reword definitions like that. In this case, I seriously doubt the existence of #6 - I've only heard that referred to as a "tarball" or a "tar file" but never a "tar." --Connel MacKenzie 04:56, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
