Welcome to my talk page.
House Rules
  1. I may or may not respond to a post you make here on this page, I will try to respond, but if I don't, you will survive, I'm sure.
  2. If I revert or remove your post from my page, it could be that I do not find the discussion germane to me; alternately it could be that I find something in the posting to be preachy or pedantic, in which case I will simply revert or remove your post. I am busy living in Japan, and really don't need to be roasted. Whiny, self-important editors threaten with "I'll get your x taken away" or "you'll never make admin"... I couldn't care less. It's happened, and I am still here.
  3. This is not your talk page, this is my talk page, and I do not allow edit wars on here. If you are a legal positivist, if the "rules" of Wikipedia in your mind overrule respect for the privacy and pages of others, or if you are a creepy Wikistalking troll, you have your own talkpage which is your own playground to do exactly what you wish. This is not it, and you are not welcome to it.
  4. If you template me for something you should be discussing first, especially if you are an edit-warring copyright cockroach, don't be surprised if I cuss you. You've earned it.
  5. Complaint against me? Be patient, my perennial wikistalker is sure to get in touch with you soon and apologize for my ill behavior. It would be funny if it were not pathetic.
  6. Friends and colleagues are most welcome, and none of the above is meant for you.

Deletion discussion about Earthquake fish

Hello, Kintetsubuffalo,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Earthquake fish should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Earthquake fish .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Infobox suggestion

Hi, I saw you left a note on Talk:John Leamy (merchant) about the article not having an infobox. Did you have a specific infobox or contents in mind, or an article to use for comparison? There are relatively few simple statistics associated with him (e.g. no offices held, unclear resting place), and it does not seem useful to add a box that merely restates the lead. Heathen Scouting and Guiding

I visited the article. So... then? o__O --Gilwellian (talk) 21:46, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Heathen concept is much broader than ásatrú. As heathen we understood as ásatrú, odinists, theodists and wotanists. Looks fine to me.--Gilwellian (talk) 10:23, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Druze Scouts

I hastily changed "Falah" to "Falach" based upon the spelling in the article Salman Hamud Falach - assuming they are one and the same individual. But since I don't have a source and the name is spelled "Falah" and "Fallah" in the article I see you have reverted my edit which is fine. Thanks. Twofingered Typist (talk) 13:44, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Twofingered Typist, and nice catch! Same guy, I think the "c" is because it is transliterated through hebrew. Since the Druze are arabic speakers, I am going to request per that article's talkpage that the article should be changed thus.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 14:51, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bela Banathy

An editor tagged Béla H. Bánáthy, a long-time Silver Beaver Scouter originally from Hungary, in March 2017. Since I am the primary author, it would not be a good idea for me to try to resolve these issues.

  • The circular issue with the page Bio Bela as a source has already been resolved.
  • The concerns about too much about Bela's Scouting life are inaccurate IMO, as it was considerably important to him.
