Battus lycidas is a species of butterfly in the family Papilionidae native to the Americas. It is commonly known as Cramer's Swallowtail, the Lycidas Swallowtail, and the Yellow-trailed Swallowtail.[1][2][3] Little is known about this species, but it is not considered threatened.[2] It is found from Mexico to northern Bolivia and southern Pará, Brazil.[1] It is rare in Costa Rica.[2] The larvae feed on Aristolochia huberiana.[4]
