Goderich is a town on the outskirts of Sierra Leone's capital Freetown. The town is located in the Western Area Rural District, about 13 miles (20 kilometers) from Freetown. The town had a population of 19,209 in the 2004 census[1] Goderich has a very high standard of living and is one of the wealthiest towns in Sierra Leone.

Notable current or former residents of Goderich include former president Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, former vice president Solomon Berewa and current Sierra Leone's president Ernest Bai Koroma.
