In the article I cited, Bhaskar Sur, Eric B. Norman, K. T. Lesko, Edgardo Browne, and Ruth-Mary Larimer show that decay of 56Ni by β+ has a half life of at least 2.9e4 years. The 6.075d half life is for decay by electron capture. undo
