Jünter is the official mascot for the German football club Borussia Mönchengladbach, named after Borussias legendary player Günter Netzer..

He is a person dressed in a large foal costume, wearing the team's football kit with the number 10 over the costume[1].

He takes part in the pre-match proceedings, attempting to get the crowd going. He owns a column in the clubs magazine “Fohlen-Echo”, where he gives his view on actual football related themes. He also owns the section “Jünter hat's gesehen” (“Jünter has seen it”) on the clubs homepage, where actual or historical games are reviewed.
