JanRain Inc. is a privately-held startup company based in Portland, Oregon. The company has deep roots in the OpenID community. The company was first in creating a standalone OpenID Provider (OP), and developed the opensource libraries that are used by the majority of the OpenID Relying Paries (RP).

Products

The company currently has two product lines RPX an OPX, which allow a website operator to either accept or issue OpenIDs.
