Jerald Joseph Jones (1894 – June 2, 1938)[1] was a professional American football player in the early years of the National Football League (NFL). From 1920 to 1924, Jones played for the Decatur Staleys/Chicago Staleys (today known as the Chicago Bears), Rock Island Independents, Toledo Maroons and Cleveland Bulldogs. Prior to his professional career, Jones played at the college level for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
