Keith Ian Ellis (born 19 March 1946, Matlock, Derbyshire; died 12 December 1978, Darmstadt, Germany), was a bass player with The Koobas, The Misunderstood, Juicy Lucy and member of Van der Graaf Generator in 1968 and 1969. He was in Boxer from 1975 until their demise late 1976 with Mike Patto, Ollie Halsall and Tony Newman.

He died while on tour with Iron Butterfly in Germany in 1978. The song "Not For Keith" (on the album pH7 by Peter Hammill, 1979) is a tribute to him.
