"Moses Andrew Jackson Good Bye" is a song published in 1906. The music was composed by Ted Snyder, and the lyrics were written by Ren Shields. The song is about a domestic worker who is fed up with the mistreatment he receives from his master, and therefore decides to leave the household. The song was performed by various artists, such as May Irwin and Arthur Collins.[1]
Recordings
Two recordings were made by Arthur Collins, one on November 14, 1906[2] in Philadelphia, and another in 1907[3]. A recording was also made by May Irwin.
