Mr Green Ltd. is an online gambling company that offers online casino. Mr Green Ltd is licensed and regulated by the LGA, Maltese Lotteries & Gaming Authority in Malta. Mr Green now operates in over 12 countries including Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria, Finland, UK, Ireland, Poland, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Canada and Italy. The head office of Mr Green is in Sliema, Malta.
Mr Green & Co is the parent company of the group, where the online casino Mr Green (Mr Green Ltd) is the largest company. The parent company, Mr Green & Co, is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and is listed on the Swedish market place.[1]
The online casino Mr Green (Mr Green Ltd) was founded in late 2007 and launched in 2008[2] by the three Swedish entrepreneurs: Fredrik Sidfalk, Henrik Bergquist and Mikael Pawlo. Sidfalk and Bergquist had experience in the iGaming sector after founding the company, brand and website of Betsson together with Anders Holmgren back in 2001.[3]
When launching in 2008,[4] Mr Green was one of the first operators to offer games from several game suppliers and built a seamless wallet solution, whereby it was no longer necessary to exchange chips to play games from different vendors. Today Mr Green offers games from IGT, Net Entertainment, Nextgen, Quickspin, Betsoft, Microgaming Quickfire, Bally Technologies[5] and the live casino supplier Evolution Gaming.[6]
Since its launch in 2008, Mr Green (Mr Green Ltd) has grown and now offers over 200 games in seven languages. Up until June 2013, Mr Green has served some 660 000 clients.[7] In 2013, Mr Green Ltd reported a profit of €6.5 million. That was nearly twice the 2012 figure, with revenue of €53 million.[8]
CEO Bo Wänghammar[9] was appointed in January 2014 after 3-year tenure at contact lens company, Lensway[10]
In 2015, Mr Green & Co acquired Italian operator, Mybet Italia [11] and was approved by the country’s gaming regulator AAMS to take over Mybet Italia’s operations. [12]
