South Point is a new lifestyle center still in The initial phases. the mall opened in the fall 2008 with JCPenney and Kohl's. Hobby Lobby and Hilton Garden Inn joined the tenant mix in 2009 and shortly after Academy Sports + Outdoors. Since opening their doors, these stores have repeatedly ranked as top performing in the region, drawing shoppers from as far away as 30 miles[1]. South Point is the only new, ground-up shopping center in metro Atlanta that is 100% occupied with more national retailers joining the powerhouse line-up soon.Construction is scheduled to begin in January for Ulta, a beauty retailer; Party City, a party supply store; as well as, Five Below, a teen and pre-teen trendy value store. The construction of a T.J.Maxx clothing supply is scheduled to begin March 1, 2012. Other stores opening in 2012 include Havertys (furniture) and a Toys"R"Us/Babies"R"Us hybrid store. Rooms To Go is also apart of the anchor line-up. When complete, the master-planned community will likely include other uses such as entertainment, medical office, residential and restaurants. Ra Co Real Estate Advisors LLC, under leadership of Ralph Conti, is collaborating on the development. Recently several new stores and eateries have been proposed such as Texas Roadhouse, The Vitamin Shoppe, Sleep Number, and Pollo Tropical.
South Point Pavillion I and II is new unrelated store front located across from South Point Mall. It includes stores such as The Original Mattress Factory, Firehouse Subs, Wells Fargo, a large Starbucks and quite a few other stores.
