If a resident or native of Japan wants to review and hopefully expand on the Japan section I would appreciate it. As I've written it, it is mostly inference and guesswork.

Ancient Camry Photo

[edit]

The caption underneath the photo of the Toyota Camry says that it has been the best selling sedan for 8 out of the past 9 years, so why is the photo itself a 17-year-old Camry? The body-styling has been updated at least 3 times since the '91 model. -Grammaticus Repairo 17:47, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge strongly opposed

[edit]

I strongly oppose merging this article with large family car - those are entirely different classes (one European and one American) and therefore two articles exist to explain the use of both terms. Please note that therefore any attempt at a merger is AGAINST consesus. Kind regards, PrinceGloria (talk) 15:45, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I oppose merging for the same reason as stated above. They are different classes, and as such, separate articles must exist to differentiate between the two. It is not a simple case of semantics or parallelism, but rather a case of well-defined regionally specific classification. -Slo-mo 18:40, 7 March 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Slo-mo (talkcontribs)
Agree also with no merge. And since no one here has supported the merge after well over 6mths, I'm removing the tag from the article. --jjron (talk) 13:57, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What's even worse is that the article for Full-size car mentions that the segment is called Large family car in Australia and has a link that now redirects to Mid-size car 167.57.100.91 (talk) 07:35, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Re-added images of Toyota Camry and Ford Taurus

[edit]

The Toyota Camry is one of the best-selling mid-sized cars ever, while the Ford Taurus was noted for repeatedly breaking ground in design. We also didn't have any pictures from the 1980s vintage. Therefore, I have re-added images of the Toyota Camry and Ford Taurus. pbp 16:09, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
