Temu is an American e-commerce platform.[1][3] Temu, a sister company of one of the largest e-commerce platforms by number of users, was launched in September 2022 in the US.[4][5] They both belong to a Nasdaq listed company (Nasdaq:PDD).[6] PDD was listed on the Nasdaq since July 2018. Its market cap has reached above US$200 billion at one point.[7][8]

One of the operating companies under PDD is Pinduoduo, the largest e-commerce platform in China by the number of users. As of March 2022, Pinduoduo had 881.9 million users and more than 11.5 million merchants.[9]
