Terrelle Pryor is an American football and basketball player from Jeannette, Pennsylvania. He is in his senior year at Jeannette Senior High School. Pryor is considered the most versatile athlete in Pennsylvania high school sports since Tom Clements. The 6 foot 6 inch Pryor is considered a top 25 basketball prospect by most recruiting analysts,[1] but is also widely regarded as the nation's top football prospect, as he was named “Junior of the Year” by Rivals.com.[2] Playing quarterback for the Jeannette Jayhawks, Pryor has drawn comparisons to former Texas Longhorn and current Tennessee Titans star quarterback Vince Young. [3]

During his sophomore year of high school, Pryor verbally committed to the University of Pittsburgh to play basketball, but has since withdrawn from that commitment to explore his rising stock and dozens of scholarship offers to be a collegiate quarterback.

Pryor has several scholarship offers from major colleges. He reportedly favors Ohio State, West Virginia, Florida, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas — in that order.[4] Terrelle hopes to play both football and basketball in college. No player has turned the feat of being a starting quarterback and basketball star at a major college since Charlie Ward did it for Florida State University in the early 1990's.
