Blackout

I would very much like to join you in blacking out my userpage and talk page. How would I go about doing that? Pascal (talk) 12:09, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You can do so by adding the following to the top of the area to be blacked out:

<div style="background:#000000; border:4px solid #000000; width:95%; margin:0px auto 0px auto; padding:6px; font-size:.9em; {{round corners}}" id="mainframe"> {|style="background:none; border:0; width:100%;" cellpadding="2px" |- |<div style="background: #FFFFFF; border:4px solid #000000; padding:20px; margin:0px 0px 4px 0px; text-align:center; {{round corners}}"><center>{{User:Philosopher/Header}}</center></div>

and

|} </div>

to the bottom of the area to be blacked out. Be aware, however, that I will be restoring the old content of my User:Philosopher/Header shortly after the "official" blackout ends, so you may wish to subst: it. --Philosopher Let us reason together. via alternate account 12:49, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
