Overview

Set many years after the adventures in Vikings, the end of the Viking era draws ever closer as England stands tall against its Nordic raiders. After the death of King Edward the Confessor, three lords make claim to the English throne, changing the future of England forever.

He is extremely loyal to his family, but there are signs of trouble with his strict and tyrannical father Skarde aka Erik the Red. Vidar is ready and defiant. Freydis Eriksdottir/Signe Skardesdottir is Vidar's wild and promiscuous half-sister. A horrific sexual assault by a group of Christian Viking made her violently anti-Christian and as this series advances, she becomes the ringleader and defender of the Norse religion against the rising tide of Christianity that is flooding Scandinavia, and will eventually begin to look for a new home for them. Her biggest problem is that she is romantically drawn into a relationship with Torsen, a well-spoken and sleek Christian Viking from a Royal family. He has just survived the St. Brice's Day massacre, the massive killing of Scandinavians ordered by King Æthelred the Unready. Torsen is part of battalion that is being assembled by King Harold Harada (aka King Kaden I) to revenge the massacre. Son of the a Norse King, and veteran military commander after a 15-year exile fighting with the Kievan Rus Vikings in the East.
