History

On Friday, January 14, 2011, WKCW dropped Brokered Spanish for a variety of Gospel music. The station also began simulcasting online, picking up IRN/USA Radio News for top-of-the-hour news. WKCW changed to an Oldies format on July 5, 2011.

Beginning July 5, 2012, the current format is the new and eclectic, "Adults Hits" (as Arbitron calls it), or "All Hits Radio, All the Time" (as the station brands it), pulling from Billboard’s top 25 hits from each year, 1957 to the present. WKCW broadcasts NBC News Radio on the hour and half hour, CNBC business reports at :20 past the hour, and London Summer Olympics coverage via Dial Global at :46. WKCW has live AM and PM Drive shows, with plans for more live on-air personalities in the future and plans for NFL Sunday Night Football beginning Fall 2012.
