Yiwu Hospital

Yiwu Hospital (Simplified Chinese: 义乌医院), is a hospital currently under construction. It is a teaching hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine.

Introduction

The hospital is located in Yiwu City, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China. Yiwu is a financial and industrial hud of Zhejiang Province, and known for its large number of international tourists and businessmen. Currently Yiwu holds a population of about 2 million people, and among which about 1.1 million were foreign-born, including more than 10 thousand international businessmen. [1]

The first investment of constructing this university hospital is about 1 billion Chinese Yuan. Initially the hospital will have about 800 patient beds. The constructional area of the hospital is about 200 Mu. [2]

Dr. Chen Yagang was pointed as the first president of the hospital.
