Tyrophagus phylloxerae, also known as Tyroglyphus phylloxeræ and as the Phylloxera mite is a species of mite, in the family Acaridae. It belongs to the same genus, Tyrophagus, as the cheese and meal mites.[1]

It is a predatory mite and was introduced in France to control grape phylloxera (Daktulosphaira vitifoliae).[2][3][4]
