The Maoist Communist Party (French: Parti Communiste maoïste, abbreviated PCm) is a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist (MLM) political party in France.[1][2] The party's ideology focuses primarily on the Maoist aspect of MLM.[3] The party was founded in January 2016,[4] succeeding the Red Bloc (Maoist Unity) which was formed in 2012 by the French Maoist Communist Party and the Union of Communists of France Marxist-Leninist and the Communist Organization, Red Future.[citation needed]

The party's founder is "Comrade Pierre," who was a member of the Gauche prolétarienne, a Maoist political party in France during the May 1968 movement.[5] The party has participated in the European Conference of Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Parties and Organizations[6][7][8] and has also supported the French Yellow Vests Protests.[9] On December 26, 2022, the party participated in the creation of the International Communist League.[10]
