Socca is a team sports variant of football, best known in 6-a-side 40-minute format.[1][2]
The International Socca Federation (ISF) is a governing body for socca.[3]
History and rules
[edit]Socca mainly differs from minifootball in larger size of the field, game durations, penalty kick style, focusing of semi and fully professional, in addition to futsal and retired football players.[4]
Matches are played in 2 halves of 20 (sometimes 25) minutes each. Teams consist of a goalkeeper and five outfield players.[5][6][7]
Matches are played on both natural and synthetic turf. The size of the field is 30x50 m, the size of the goal is 2x5 m.[8][9][10]
