There was a broadcast called 'The 1928 Project' one of the earliest broadcasts to go to space, predating Hitler's 1936 Berlin Olympics broadcast. If I'm correct it went like this; "If anyone hearing this broadcast would be willing to communicate with us; we are very anxious to know how far this project has reached."
