Removed Countdown
[edit]I've removed the countdown section as a brief look at the footage from Olympic Channel on youtube shows that it wasn't in order, only clips from recent ceremonies was shown. (the famous Barcelona lighting of cauldron was number 1 for example)
Countdown

The ceremony began with a countdown at the screen coming from 23 to 1. Starting at 23, footage from previous games appeared. On 0, an image of fireworks was shown followed by a image of a child's drawing with the phrase "Let's Party!".
