[edit]Based upon the sources cited, I'd be reluctant to state that Sean Connery went into hiding after Stampanato's death, but I'll leave that to someone who actually knows more about this little tidbit of history. I limited myself to just removing all the idioms that were in the previous version of that sentence. Hanenkamp (talk) 22:13, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
reference 3, 4 and 6 are dead. reference 5 actually says that stompanato was deported from the uk because he entered illegally using a passport with the name john steele. does not match the description of stompanato's deportation due to an assault on connery. 109.192.62.121 (talk) 08:13, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
Needs Work
[edit]The opening says he was a bodyguard for Micky Cohen (I don't recall the statement being sourced), then that isn't mentioned in the body. In the body, it says he opened a gift shop. Was that his career up to his death? When did he work for Cohen? How did hem meet Turner? What's the story behind the "Lanita" bracelet? If there isn't one, why is this remotely biographical? I personally don't have the knowledge base to do anything with this. 17:17, 22 October 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.143.205.150 (talk)
Helene Stanley
[edit]Who writes this stuff? How is it his WIFE the "starlet" Helene Stanley has been erased from history as if she never married or existed BEFORE Lana Turner? It made the news when it was discovered that he and Lana had an affair while he was MARRIED to Helene. They were married April 13, 1953. Come on someone, anyone, fix this! Oh no way, I refuse to edit this, I do not have the time or inclination. I'm sure there are plenty of Wiki editor's capable of handling this better than myself. 69.249.125.97 (talk) 19:13, 18 July 2015 (UTC)BrattySoul
- Our article on Helene Stanley says that the two only planned to marry. So if what you say is true, that article would have to be corrected as well. However, we need a reliable source to determine the facts and to base article text on. Deli nk (talk) 19:20, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

Date of Birth
[edit]His death certificate lists October 9 as birth date. http://www.findadeath.com/Deceased/t/Lana%20Turner/Stomp%20DC.JPG Is there a reason to use October 10? Thisdaytrivia (talk) 20:20, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
