Longitude, Lattitude?
[edit]Could someone get the geographic coordinates for this? Tks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.50.38.10 (talk) 19:58, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- This has already been added. --Pim Rijkee (talk) 21:16, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Hka, river?
[edit]I've changed 'Mali Hka and N'mai Hka rivers' to 'Mali and N'mai rivers', as Hka is the Burmese indication for river. I can't find the proof right now, but i'm sure i'll come up with it sometime soon, and of course i'll post it here then. The mistake is made quite frequently. Suggestions or proof are welcome, here and at my talk page! --Pim Rijkee (talk) 21:16, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Pronunciation
[edit]Myitkyina is a big deal in World War II during the Burma Campaign.
So in documentaries you can hear it pronounced by the Allies in English.
It's pronounced "Mitchena", like "Mitchener".
The English pronunciation should be added. Varlaam (talk) 20:17, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- FWIW in books about the Burma campaign written by people who were there IIRC the pronunciation was usually written as "Mitchinar". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.31.130.71 (talk) 11:13, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
