Manager turned Wrestler
[edit]He is the first male manager turn full time wrestler in WWE history.
that is not true, what about the Roadie becoming the Road Dogg or Johnny Polo going on to become Raven?

Camel Clutch?
[edit]People around the net seem to think the Camel Clutch is a finisher of Daivari's. The only time I recall him using it on WWE TV is when he did it to a referee, back when Daivari was Kurt Angle's personal referee on RAW. I don't recall him ever using it in a match. The only finisher he's used on WWE TV is his Guillotine Leg Drop.
- he hasnt used his Scimitar (leg drop) to finish matches in WWE or the Indy circuit, but in the SmackDown! video games the leg drop is his finisher... Daivari adopted the Camel Clutch after Hassan left though i can think of any matches which have been finished by it. The fact is, unless you can find a match which he has used it to finish with it sould be unbolded ---Paulley
Daivari did defeat Shawn Michaels with the leg drop, I remember that for sure.
Married?
[edit]Can we get some confirmation on his marriage? IMDB lists him as married to Casey Olivet since September 1st, 2006. But there is no other sources to back this up. Not one single other website has reported it.
Another thing I find strange was Daivari mentioned in an interview last year he doesn't want a wife or kids. How did that change in 8 months?
- He's not married, but he is engaged -- though not to Casey Olivet, whoever that is. ViolentLee (talk) 09:03, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
TNA Wrestling
[edit]- There is at least one match which Shawn Daivari wrestled for TNA. Does anybody know more about his stay there? The match comes from the early days of the syndicated TNA Xplosion. 204.52.215.102 19:26, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
I just saw him on TNA now. Him being in TNA should be mentioned. 76.110.82.251 (talk) 01:28, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Grudge against Undertaker
[edit]Which text should be used?
This text;
- His character seems to bear a grudge against The Undertaker because he has now managed three different people who all have tried to destroy "the legend" of The Undertaker.
Or this text;
- His character seems to bear a grudge against The Undertaker due to all for of the wrestlers managed by Daivari have feuded with The Undertaker while under his management.
I'd go with the first one as he was managing Mark Henry while Kurt Angle was feuding with The Undertaker. Ken S. 21:36, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Age
[edit]Daivari wasn't born in 1984 but in 1978.
- Incorrect. He and I trained at Fox/Sharkey's camp together; he was 16 or so, and I was about 22. I was born in '78, so he's obviously a lot younger. ViolentLee 02:58, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- Amazingly, this has gotten even more wrong. Born in 1974? He's about 23, not 33. Like I said, the guy was 15 or 16 when he started wrestling in 2000. Geez, people. If you freaking don't know something, don't put it on Wikipedia. ViolentLee 00:46, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Moving to SmackDown
[edit]Is there a reliable source stating that Daivari is moving to the SmackDown roster? I haven't heard this anywhere. Given that it's been added to this page by several users, I have to wonder where people are getting is from. Rightfully in First Place 22:04, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit]He has been released from the WWE, as of October 16th. Could someone that CAN add that, do so, please?
Edit: Wow, that was fast. :P 69.246.188.138 23:12, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Real name is Dara
[edit]In an interview with WorldWrestlingInsanity dot com he reveals this. The name Shawn is derived from his liking for Shawn Michaels and how his trainer felt he was like Sean Waltman. TonyFreakinAlmeida 16:58, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

high school
[edit]Dara (as I knew him) Daivari went to Wayzata High School, same high school as Marion Barber III(Dallas Cowboys) and Dominique Barber. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.41.251.43 (talk) 03:45, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Independent Circuit (2008-)
[edit]He has recently made a number of appearences for the UK based promotion Varsity Pro Wrestling, wrestling under the name of Davari. He has quickly become one of the promotions top heels, and he cut a memorable "Shoe Bomber" Promo. In VPW's most recent show at the Protsmouth Guild Hall, Davari defeated Doug Williams via a rollup. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicklo2k (talk • contribs) 17:53, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
