As I read this article, I see no notability outside being a city councillor and therefore the subject does not meet the WP:POLITICIAN guidelines. – ukexpat (talk) 15:52, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, how much coverage does a city councilor need, to shift from being an unnotable person, to being notable? I don't usually know who city politicians are, especially if they aren't my councilor, but there's certainly been a lot of coverage for this fellow, and not just for the election spending incident. Sadly, most of the coverage I remember is radio coverage, and I made no effort to track that for citing. And, does it matter that this is the fourth largest urban area in the country? (Population larger than some entire provinces?)173.206.136.196 (talk) 18:59, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
