I wonder if we should add a note that Polish presidents from 1918-1939 were elected not by a direct vote? And a further note about presidents in exile and abolishment of the office during commie times? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 00:18, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think notes on templates are particularly helpful - it's not really the place for them - should be on the List of presidents of Poland or similar though. пﮟოьεԻ 57 09:13, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1917 Łódź City Council election?

[edit]

It appeared on the Did you know section, and I think, considering the article's quality, it would be great to have a link to it in the template considering there's no way to put it in the 1916-17 Local elections article (as that article not exist yet). Perhaps either by temporarily linking it to the "17" in 1916-17, adding a footnote to 1916-17 (is that possible?) or just adding it in some sort of "Others" section. It probably wouldn't work too well with the template but it's better to link it in some way than to leave it out entirely. Polish kurd (talk) 21:24, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think your first idea is the best (linking it as 191617). Would it not be possible to create a short 1916–17 Polish local elections article that links to the Łódź one (like 2008 Italian regional elections? Cheers, Number 57 21:35, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's too few individual regional election articles made for a page like that, and certainly I have too little sources to create any proper article for those elections (for now). So for the time being, I'll just alter the template with "191617". Polish kurd (talk) 21:47, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
