Welcoming Committee

[edit]

There actually is a welcoming committee, although I know nothing about it. You can find it at Wikipedia:Welcoming Committee. Prodego talk 21:58, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I am going to decline your VandalProof application, because you do not have the 250 article edits that are required to use the program. Please do reapply when you meet this requirement though. Prodego talk 22:05, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
A table of contents will appear on talk pages, once they get a certain number of sections, automatically. If you want this for your own talk page you can add {{TOC}} to the page, and this will add it, but you should only do that on your own pages. Prodego talk 22:12, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please seperate your messages to me(like I am here) so they are easier to read. You do need 250 mainspace edits, not just total for VandalProof, and you can find more information on userboxes here. Prodego talk 22:22, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mainspace edits are edits to articles, that is your total edit count minus edits to talk pages, wikipedia pages, and the like. You can read more about this at Help:Namespace. Prodego talk 22:28, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alphachimbot

[edit]

Your message on Alphachimpbot's talk page. Alphachimpbot is a bot and it can't talk or understand what you wrote. If you want a response, contact Alphachimp, the owner of the bot. -Yancyfry 21:54, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He's right. To answer your question, WP:SUBST states that we should eliminate transclusions on certain templates, warnings included. Alphachimpbot does that. I hope that helps. Drop me a line on my talk page with any further questions. Alphachimp 07:01, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats!

The Game

[edit]

It is sweet to find some one else who is interested in the Game. How should I explain it to others?. Ibuck 23:55, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

[edit]

Please stop spamming user talk pages. It might be considered as disruption. Also, you were putting in "Prodego", rather than addressing them with their respective usernames. Happy Christmas. — Nearly Headless Nick {C} {L} 14:38, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I agree. 1ne 17:23, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you (especially since you accidentally addressed all your messages to me!), but they are right, leaving lots of messages like that can cause problems. Don't worry about it though, just remember in the future. Thanks and happy editing! Prodego talk 20:14, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CVU status

[edit]

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! Delivered on behalf of xaosflux 16:00, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain why you reverted me please? I'm trying to clean up the article, from what I can tell it was written by one of the academics of the group and so there are a few problems. Thanks Smartse (talk) 19:06, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've gone ahead and undone your revert as you don't appear to be very active here. Smartse (talk) 20:39, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
