Tam Dinh (Vietnamese: Đinh Thanh Tâm; born April 10, 1990) is a Vietnamese-American professional basketball player for the Cantho Catfish of the Vietnam Basketball Association (VBA) and the Saigon Heat of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
Pro career
[edit]Cantho Catfish (2016–present)
[edit]In 2016, Dinh joined the Cantho Catfish of the VBA prior to the league's inaugural season.[1] At the conclusion of the season, he was named to the All-VBA First Team, finishing with averages of 19.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game.
Prior to the start of the 2017 season, Dinh signed a multi-team deal. The deal keeps him with the Catfish for the VBA season, and will see him join the Saigon Heat of the ABL for the 2016–17 season.[2]
International career
[edit]In 2017, Dinh received a Vietnamese passport.[3] He made his debut for the Vietnam national team at the 2017 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur.[4]
