Gilberto Quan Miguel

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Gilberto Quan Miguel, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. P4k 05:57, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Gilberto Quan Miguel

[edit]

Gilberto Quan Miguel, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Gilberto Quan Miguel satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gilberto Quan Miguel and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Gilberto Quan Miguel during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. P4k 06:16, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked for 24 hours to keep you from repeatedly removing the notice.

That was a violation of both the WP:AFD policy and our three-reverts-maximum-per-24-hours policy WP:3RR. You are not allowed to do those things when you edit Wikipedia.

When the block is over, you can comment on the AFD page explaining why you want it kept and providing reliable references that show that this is not a hoax.

Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert 06:30, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for repeated abuse of editing privileges. Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was unjustly blocked. The principal reason being that I broke rules I was unaware of. I only learned of the three revert rule after I was banned for breaking it. I was never informed of such a rule before hand. What's more I did not know ADF blocks of text were not allowed to be removed, why would I considering you can remove other warning text without punishment. I think a warning would be more appropriate.

Decline reason:

I count three warnings above, which all make it very clear that you should have stopped that behaviour immediately. You chose to continue, and this was disruptive. A correct block. By the way, I am gay. Daniel 06:42, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

(edit conflict)Note to Naius: you were warned: three times. There are three messages above before you were blocked, telling you to stop removing the notice. You need to pay attention to those. If you won't read them and listen to them, it's your problem. The block will expire in 24 hrs anyways, but another administrator will be along to review the block per your request. (and Daniel has done so...) Side note; I too, am also gay. Georgewilliamherbert 06:42, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry

[edit]

I regret to inform you that your sockpuppet account User:Gunit415 has been blocked indefinitely.

As you are actively evading the block, your account is being blocked for another 48 hrs. If you keep evading the block, it will be extended for longer periods of time. This behavior is not permitted on Wikipedia - you can knock it off, or we'll kick you off. It's up to you. Georgewilliamherbert 21:52, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive. If you continue to blank or make disruptive edits to your talk page, you will not be able to edit it. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 01:19, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
