[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Leah Remini. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (46.253.36.76) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! Govindaharihari (talk) 17:08, 29 December 2019 (UTC)

US Dollars
[edit]Please stop putting US in front of dollar signs.
In most articles it is obvious that it is American dollars. Even in cases where might be necessary to specify US$ or USD you should only do so at the start of the article, not repeatedly throughout the article. Please read the MOS:CURRENCY guidelines. -- 109.76.200.15 (talk) 03:23, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Edward Hopper, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Darren-M talk 20:16, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Bachata (music), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Binksternet (talk) 22:49, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Please do not make non-constructive or arbitrary edits to Wikipedia, as you did when you added arbitrary spaces and removed a wikilink from the Jennifer Grey article with this edit. The word nosejob already redirects to the rhinoplasty article, but if you wanted to change it, there was no need to remove the wikilink. Nightscream (talk) 19:52, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Rete mirabile—because it did not appear constructive. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at NCC. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 00:08, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Rete mirabile, you may be blocked from editing. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 02:43, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
Please stop making incorrect or unnecessary changes to articles, especially with no edit summaries. It looks as if you are deliberately editing disruptively, while occasionally making acceptable edits. You are wasting other editors' time and likely to be blocked next time you make such an edit. - @DVRTed: I'm astonished that you think this was vandalism. You may as well follow your own advice, starting with reading WP:VANDNOT. No such user (talk) 13:20, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- @No such user: So, I was wrong in thinking the change from
* [[Cascabela thevetia|Yellow oleander]]
to* ''[[Cascabela thevetia]]'' (hellow oleander)
was nonconstructive/possibly a vandalism? — DVRTed (Talk) 13:30, 6 December 2022 (UTC)- @DVRTed: Yes, quite wrong. While MOS:SEEALSO and MOS:NOPIPE do not seem to explicitly address piped links in See Also, the style employed by IP is much more common. In any case, the change did not deteriorate the article in any way, and fall well within WP:DONTREVERT domain. Even when you think an edit was bad, it is fine to revert it, but unfounded accusations of vandalism tend to drive good-faith contributors away. No such user (talk) 13:46, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- @No such user: I was especially influenced by the change "yellow" -> "hellow"--as there are abundant of similar vandalism or variations of it on Recent Changes. In hindsight, I could believe it was a good-faith edit by the IP with a typo. Cheers. — DVRTed (Talk) 13:54, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Falkirk Wheel, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
