Request reason:
I have been blocked from editing entries but I do not understand why as the reasons given do not seem to apply to any entries that I have made. It would be appreciated if you could explain which of my entries has caused this action to be taken against me and the particular problem with the entry. I have been editing sporadically for years without any problems in the past
Decline reason:
The IP range from which you are editing has been blocked. You can still edit Wikipedia, but you will need to create an account, and edit as a logged-in user. Follow the instructions in the box below to create an account. PhilKnight (talk) 15:11, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Editing by unregistered users from your shared IP address or address range may be currently disabled due to abuse. However, you are still able to edit if you sign in with an account. If you are currently blocked from creating an account, and cannot create one elsewhere in the foreseeable future, you may follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Request an account to request that volunteers create your username for you. Please use an email address issued to you by your ISP, school or organization so that we may verify that you are a legitimate user on this network. Please reference this block in the comment section of the form.
Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Adjust my block
[edit]85.255.233.135 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am connected to a 4G connection and my IP Address is blocked. It says I am currently affected by a block for this IP address range “85.255.232.0/21” which says anonymous only and i can create an account. But i am also affected by a second block on the ip range “85.255.192.0/18” which says anonymous only but also says account creation blocked. My ip address is currently “85.255.233.135” and my ip address isn’t even close to “85.255.192.0/18” range. The third set of numbers “192” isn’t even 18 numbers more or less to the current ip. And it should only affect all the 4th set of numbers and not the 3rd set of numbers. Like it is nowhere near 233. Can you change the block for “85.255.192.0/18” so I can create an account?
Decline reason:
No. WP:ACC is available to you. Note that you don't understand how IP address ranges work, though this is not particularly something you are obligated to understand. Yamla (talk) 19:29, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
