[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia, but try to summarize as many as your edits as possible. It becomes a problem for others if you make too many edits in a row without a single explanation and it may get reverted by mistake. Hi. When you recently edited Nishant Singh Malkani, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengali (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Geniac. Your recent edit to the page Housefull (2010 film) appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. That other articles, even many articles are poorly constructed

[edit]

The fact that other articles, even many other articles, are poorly constructed does not mean that we should allow sloppy habits to extend to other articles. There is a column for role information and the role information should be included in that column, otherwise, if we are just going to plop information anywhere, and not use the columns to actually organize information, there is no reason for a table in the first place. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:48, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

if you think "special appearance" would need to be "countered" by "lead role", we can remove "special appearance" as it is unsourced. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:11, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
no i dont think you are right. I think that if we are going to use tables, the only reason is because it is a benefit to the reader to group content in rows and columns of data of similar nature - and any identification of "special appearance" is SOLELY related to the ROLE and therefore belongs in the ROLE column - and you have provided no other rationale than "but all the other kids are doin it" which is not at all convincing. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 00:29, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
in cases where the table isnt filled with crappy trivia, it IS called the Awards column. And where it currently is not, it probably should be. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 00:53, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Sridevi at 58th FF

[edit]

You are the latest editor to fall for this deal of her winning an official award. If it was really official and not a bit of joke it would show up in these lists, which it does not: [1], [2], [3] BollyJeff | talk 13:41, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well that is unfortunate, but the 3 lists above do list Yash, and not Sridevi. I wish FF would hire someone to get these list of winners done right, and put them on one permanent website. BollyJeff | talk 14:34, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Ranveer Singh. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Stop adding unsourced character names Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 07:20, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Ranveer Singh shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 09:52, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Friends (season 7). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 09:54, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Friends (season 7), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 16:33, 20 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Deepika Padukone

[edit]

Hey. I plan on taking Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor's article to the GA level, followed by a subsequent FA. Given your work on Padukone's article, would you be willing to collaborate on her article with me? --smarojit HD 06:10, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing! That sounds good to me :) AB01 (talk) 06:30, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, you didn't need to delete that. The first time I nominated an article for GA (The Dirty Picture), I had no idea what to expect either, but I have learnt over time. Anyway, check out Vidya Balan's and Rani Mukerji's articles (and the corresponding GA-FA nomination archives in their talk page) to get an idea of how the nomination procedure is. --smarojit HD 06:45, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not at all! Ask as many questions as you want. :) --smarojit HD 06:58, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just a note about reference formatting: When you use newspaper and magazine references (such as TOI, Hindustan Times, India Today etc.) use the "cite news" template and include "work = (that particular source)". On the other hand, when you use web references (such as Rediff.com, Box Office India, Bollywood Hungama etc.) use the "cite web" template and include "publisher = (that particular source)". --smarojit HD 12:14, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, Apunkachoice is definitely not reliable. The first and fifth sources can be used for now until we find a better source. Also, let me know when you are done adding new information and formatting the references, so that I can start copy-editing the article. :) Btw, there are too many reviews by Taran Adarsh in the article. I don't think that there should be more than one (max two). --smarojit HD 12:33, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's alright. I'll probably start working on it tomorrow evening. I just don't want an edit conflict is all. --smarojit HD 12:42, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Screenshots of a movie is copyrighted, and cannot be used. Only "events and parties" photographs by Bollywood Hungama can be used by using the proper licence. --smarojit HD 15:44, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think that there are a lot of free images of her already. Do we really need some more? --smarojit HD 10:39, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am done with the career section. But now lies the tricky part as the other sections need a lottt of work! --smarojit HD 07:24, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. :) Can you find more information about her off-screen work? Charities and such. --smarojit HD 17:18, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. Let's see, I haven't begun work on those sections as yet. --smarojit HD 18:21, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the barnstar. :) Now it's best to let the article be stable. The reviews are fine in my opinion. --smarojit HD 05:16, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that the Housefull review is better (not sure what "plasticky expressions" mean). but then that's just my opinion. --smarojit HD 14:26, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Did u award me that, seeing this? Anyway, I think u know that Chandralekha (1948 film) passed its GA review yesterday (Sunday), after being in slumps for nearly five years since its creation? And I am the nominator of course. Since the film was a bilingual (Hindi version was separately shot with few different actors), is it ok staying in the Bollywood Portal? No worries! Yep, haha. Oh, I've never actually heard of that movie. I'm just awarding you generally for your contributions. Main Page appearance: Deepika Padukone

[edit]

This is a note to let the main editors of Deepika Padukone know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on January 5, 2014. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask Bencherlite (talk · contribs). You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/January 5, 2014. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone (born 1986) is an Indian film actress and model. She has established a successful career in Hindi (Bollywood) films, and is cited in the media as one of the most popular and attractive Indian celebrities. She made her acting debut in 2006 as the titular character of the Kannada film Aishwarya. She then played dual roles in her first Bollywood release—the 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om—and won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Padukone received praise for portraying the lead female role in the 2009 romance Love Aaj Kal, but her performances in the 2008 romantic comedy Bachna Ae Haseeno and the 2010 comedy Housefull met with negative reviews. The 2012 box office hit Cocktail marked a significant turning point in her career, earning her critical acclaim and Best Actress nominations at several award ceremonies. In 2013, Padukone established herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema by playing primary roles in the comedies Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express (both of which rank among the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time), and garnered critical acclaim for her role in the tragic romance Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. Warning - You must provide sources

[edit]

You have repeatedly restored claims to Amitabh Bachchan filmography without meeting the policy requirement of providing inline citations to reliably published sources that specifically support the claims. Please do so or revert yourself.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 06:42, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I did provide an inline source. It's right there in the NOTES column. AB01 I'M A POTATO 06:45, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
And please read this if you haven't done so already. This is the perfect way to set up filmography tables...WP:FILMOGRAPHY AB01 I'M A POTATO 06:46, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
don't lie. your edit restored dozens of claims for which you provided no sources. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 06:52, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What are you talking about?!? The projects in production have a source next to them. And guest appearances and awards do not have to be referenced, if you see WP:FILMOGRAPHY. AB01 I'M A POTATO 06:56, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You restored unsourced claims about awards, unsourced claims about delays, unsourced claims about "guest" appearances etc etc etc. FILMOGRAPHY does NOT give a pass to WP:V. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 07:06, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If we go by your logic, every single film should have a source next to it. Are you going to remove all these films too? Instead of removing content, why don't you add sources? AB01 I'M A POTATO 07:19, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I didnt challenge every film. I challenged future films, i challenged awards, i challenged claims of delayed release dates. its not my requirement to do your work for you, you are the one who is restoring and therefore the one who must supply the sources. In any instance I dont think any of those types of content are appropriate for this article, even with sources, so I why would i bother searching. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 07:35, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@TheRedPenOfDoom: Just give it up already, you have lost your appeal and consensus at every corner is against you. WP:IDONTHEARIT seems to be your forte, but again, it seems wasting other's time is also. AB01, please proceed with your edits, however, try not to always add without sources. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 07:41, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
if there has been a consensus to eliminate WP:V i must have missed it and it must have been very temporary in nature because it is still there as policy that applies to EVERY article. If you want to get filmography article content exempted, feel free to try to gain community consensus. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 07:44, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Anyways, I've removed the awards, but it was very irresponsible of you to revert my whole edit. I was fixing up the article too, and I bet you didn't even see that, cos you think you're the best editor in the world and can do no wrong (and hence everybody else is automatically wrong)! Does a responsible editor ignore the contributions made from others?!? Jeez!! You need to start respecting other editors and their edits, and stop being a nuisance! PLEASE!! AB01 I'M A POTATO 08:03, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
How do you justify that "guest appearance" should not be removed. By removing this, you're misguiding people by making them think that the actor has a full-fledged role in them, and that's irresponsible editting" (when everyone knows that some parts in movies are big and some parts in movies are small) and yet insist that we must not place any qualifiers about a films release year when the film that is truly misleading people into thinking a movie has been released? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 08:09, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OMG! Why must you be soooo annoying?!? Did you read this WP:FILMOGRAPHY? is there a source next to Guest appearance? Have you read FA/GA articles? Eg... Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Vidya Balan, Jackie Chan, Reese Witherspoon, etc?? Do you see a source next to each cameo appearance? And, I'm not saying that these films have released. If you OPEN YOUR EYES, you will see that it says "filming" and "pre-production" in the NOTES column, implying that the film is still in production stage, and hence not released. With that, if you still think that the films have released, then you must really be that stupid, hey? It's common sense! Do you have none? AB01 I'M A POTATO 08:26, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

AB01, this dude is seriously crazy! He needs to be worshiped and obeyed like a Wiki-God, and then he shall bestow his blessings on us. My head is screwed up because he doesn't seem to understand anything. That's a potato, really! -- KRIMUK90  10:06, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gaaaaahh...ikr! He refuses to believe he's wrong!! Somebody hand be a Panadol (or a whole bottle)! I don't think I've ever heard of a more annoying person than my brother, nay..Justin Bieber!! :-( is there any way to get a topic ban on him, for Bollywood articles? AB01 I'M A POTATO 10:16, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, Bieber is a good comparison. I don't think he should be topic banned. He is a constructive editor on a lot of other articles. It's just that he is one of those people who is not used to be told he is wrong. So yeah, this might be a good start for him. LOL. Look at us, bitching like they do on Koffee with Karan! :P -- KRIMUK90  10:21, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
"not used to be told he is wrong"- my thoughts exactly! It's ok to be wrong though. I'm always wrong (LOL). I have no problem in saying it (except if I'm arguing with my bro) Hehe. Did you catch the Nargis-Freida episode? I normally don't watch the show, but that episode was funny as! "oh..look there! Somebody's boob's on the floor. Let's kick it to the side!"-Nargis :P AB01 I'M A POTATO 10:34, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, we are all wrong so many times, and it's okay to accept that without hurting our egos. I loved the Nargis-Freida episode. Finally we had girls who were honest and not the pretend-coy we are so used to on that show. Did you see the Priyanka-Deepika one? KJo's description of them as "nuns" really cracked me up! They were pretending to be these eternal virgins, who would burn to ashes if a man touched them, by saying stuff like "Indian women don't date" and shit like that. LOL, shoot me in my face! -- KRIMUK90  10:44, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeh, I only saw that one cos Deepika was in it, but it was pretty boring. The only parts that were funny were the "nun" bit and the part where Deepika says it's not a sin to have a lesbian experience, and asking Karan why he's rubbing his knee. AHAHAHA!! But Deepika seemed really happy in that episode. Was nice to hear her laughter. AB01 I'M A POTATO 10:52, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
She has a very infectious laughter, doesn't she? Freida and Nargis were quite excited to have a threesome with Deepika. Haha. That would be quite something. LOL! -- KRIMUK90  10:55, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, pree sure they turned on every man with that statement ;-) I wanna see Katrina on KWK. I know she's a little boring in interviews (being diplomatic here just in case Karan's also a Wiki editor, baha!), but it'd be interesting to see her tackle all those rumours about her (read: Ranbir and her mysterious background) AB01 I'M A POTATO 11:02, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, Katrina has always been extremely guarded about her life. I have a feeling that she has had a not-so-good past which she feels the need to cover up. So even if she turns up for the show, she will not answer any of his questions directly. -- KRIMUK90  11:12, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
True dat. Are you planning on watching Queen? With all those good reviews, I was so in the mood to watch it in theatres, then I found out the film isn't releasing in my country -.- AB01 I'M A POTATO 11:18, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I was planning to go for either that or Gulaab Gang tomorrow. Maybe both. Which country are you in, if you don't mind my asking?-- KRIMUK90  11:21, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Australia. Every Hindi film is being released except this one! Wish I could give one slap to the distributors hehe. What country are you in? AB01 I'M A POTATO 11:25, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hahahaa. I am in Singapore, and both those films are releasing in only one theatre. So have to book the tickets in advance, like really in advance. -- KRIMUK90  11:56, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, if you were a country, you'd be Smaropore :P AB01 I'M A POTATO 12:09, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

LOL, hush now. I have been trying to conceal my identity. :D -- KRIMUK90  12:17, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Bahaha. Well ok, but only if you don't tell anyone that I'm BATMAN!! Anyways, getting late here. Good night (if your bedtime is at 8.23) :-) AB01 I'M A POTATO 12:23, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Deal. :) :) Good night to you. I have a long night ahead of me. LOL! ;) -- KRIMUK90  12:27, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Writer's Barnstar
Excellent, excellent work on Kangana Ranaut. Very well done! KRIMUK90  09:30, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I also think that you should nominate it for WP:DYK now that you have expanded it so much. Btw, do let me know if you intend to take this further to GA/FA. I find her to be very interesting. :) -- KRIMUK90  10:17, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, yep. You can read the instructions at the link above. They recently featured a fact from Rani Mukerji filmography on the main page too, so you can take a look at that on the talk page. -- KRIMUK90  11:18, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I would love to work on it with you. :) -- KRIMUK90  13:34, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I shall begin shortly. :) -- KRIMUK90  12:52, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey buddy, sorry about the delay, but I will begin work on Ranaut in a couple of days. -- KRIMUK90  06:33, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, not 5x expanded. Well, let's wait a while to achieve GA status and then we can nom it again. -- KRIMUK90  06:45, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Tickets booked for tomorrow evening. I saw Gulaab Gang last weekend, and didn't like it much. Did you see Queen? -- KRIMUK90  06:52, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I have heard such good things about it; high time that I watched it. My mom loved it too, and that's very rare. -- KRIMUK90  07:03, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Finally saw Queen. It was fucking amazing! One of the best Hindi films I have seen in recent times, and Kangana is a rockstar!!! She is definitely the best actresses we have in India now, on par with Vidya Balan. -- KRIMUK90  15:41, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, Lisa and all of the supporting cast were very good too. I get so excited after watching a good movie, it's embarrassing! LOL. -- KRIMUK90  03:34, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, but I will be very surprised if that turns out to be as good as Queen. Though it's definitely good to see more powerful characters being written for women. -- KRIMUK90  11:24, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I really think you should nominate Katrina Kaif at WP:GAN. It should definitely pass, and can be your first GA. :) -- KRIMUK90  08:01, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Kaif's article already has a "in the media" section, right? Yeah, it will be good to have a "personal life and off-screen work" section too, but that's not compulsory for a GA. -- KRIMUK90  08:53, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, what have you been smoking? Do tell. :P -- KRIMUK90  09:03, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
ROFL!! That was fucking hilarious!!! -- KRIMUK90  12:53, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Kanye West would agree! ;-) -- KRIMUK90  15:50, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Copied

[edit]

Look at how much they directly copied from what we had written on her article here! -- KRIMUK90  10:55, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, I know right! But well, Wiki is in the public domain, and they can copy stuff from here. Sigh! -- KRIMUK90  12:09, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Her article is shaping up well. Will add more info in the early life section tomorrow, and over the next few days will start and expand on personal life and in the media sections. Plenty of information available on her, so we can get it to FA without much problem! -- KRIMUK90  12:41, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, been there, done that! Good luck! -- KRIMUK90  15:41, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Well, something like EcoLife and ISSF's website should be reliable enough, but I am not very sure about the rest. Did you search on Google Books? I am sure you will find lots of info here and they always look good on an assignment. -- KRIMUK90  08:23, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. Good luck! What are you studying btw? -- KRIMUK90  08:41, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Quantitative Finance. -- KRIMUK90  08:52, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Basically statistical analysis of financial data. Very blah, really! -- KRIMUK90  09:06, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, I know right! That's when Wiki comes useful. Editing here is like therapy! -- KRIMUK90  09:12, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
LMAO, I really didn't get that. I swear! :P -- KRIMUK90  09:13, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Naah, I was too busy playing a prank on my roomie to fully understand what you had said! Trust me, I live for double innuendos! Ok, no that's too much. LOL! -- KRIMUK90  09:22, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hell yeah! -- KRIMUK90  12:22, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Katrina Kaif

[edit]

You have done a fabulous job of improving this article, but one obvious question remains, that if you could find the answer to would be great. How could she be born with the last name Turquotte, her mother's name, and not Kaif, her father's? Were her parents already split up before she was born perhaps? There needs to be a credible story. Thanks for your efforts. BollyJeff | talk 12:37, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent work on Ms. Kaif buddy!! :) :) -- KRIMUK90  14:39, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yup! Wonderful film. -- KRIMUK90  07:28, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Gemini (2002 Tamil film) is a FAC (featured article candidate) and I think you would like to post your comments on the FAC page. Meanwhile, I have given my support to Kangana Ranaut's FAC. Kailash29792 (talk) 08:30, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Katrina Kaif image

[edit]

You found khazana on BH :) File:Katrina Kaif at an event for Nakshatra.jpg. Maybe I thought I have found best image of Katrina on BH, so I didn't give more search. Congrats! I won't mind if you swap places of infobox image and your above image. Abhi (talk) 17:01, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks :-) I do agree; she looks really good in that picture. But, I think it's best to leave the current infobox image for now, since it's more recent AB01 I'M A POTATO 01:46, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Hello!

[edit]

I probably should not do it. I have over 150 edits on Kaif (2%+ of the total), versus your 6 edits on SRK, so it would might not look right to some if I passed it. The reason I reviewed it the last time was only because it was a quick fail. If you would like to review SRK anyway, that would be great. Regardless, good luck to you. BollyJeff | talk 16:15, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, AB01. Sorry that it is taking a while to fix your review points, but my real life is busy now. Please leave the review open, and I will get to it all. Just so you know, you have provided a very thorough review, but it is well beyond the normal Wikipedia:Good article criteria. It is into the realm of Wikipedia:What the Good article criteria are not, and getting close to Wikipedia:Featured article criteria. I can handle it, given enough time, but for future reviews that you do, you may want to study these links. BollyJeff | talk 15:20, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

3 months actually, haha. But, naah...it's all good. I can wait a few months longer if I have to. And, Kailash, I see your wish has come true, now that someone's taken the X-Men review :P AB01 I'M A POTATO 03:49, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! AB01 I'M A POTATO 01:21, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just a last help: You don't have to edit this, but in the article, starting from "Although exact figures for the film's box office earnings are not available", can you do some source reviewing and point me any flaws? Because I don't distinctly understand how Box Office India works. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:16, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: Are you asking whether you've referenced the BOI sources properly? If yes, then yep..they seem right to me AB01 I'M A POTATO 05:34, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to know if the statement "It gives its adjusted nett gross as 37,98,00,000" is properly written according to the supporting BOI source (because a WP:GOCE member seem confused over the term "adjusted nett gross" and questioned me) while the other statements seem clarified and written well according to sources. Kailash29792 (talk) 05:40, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: Tbh, I don't even understand what these terms mean. To date I've only added content regarding the domestic nett/worldwide nett collections of a film. It looks right to me though AB01 I'M A POTATO 05:49, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Katrina Kaif

[edit]

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Katrina Kaif you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Cirt -- Cirt (talk) 16:00, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Katrina Kaif

[edit]

The article Katrina Kaif you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Katrina Kaif for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Cirt -- Cirt (talk) 14:23, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry for the article failing its GA review again. Maybe if it went through a formal GOCE editing, it could have a chance of passing. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:52, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, don't give up. I have had biography GAs failed as well. You will get it next time. BollyJeff | talk 17:50, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: @Bollyjeff: Aww, thanks for the support guys. :') Yeah, I think it might need a pro copyediting first AB01 I'M A POTATO 06:04, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think you can undo your edit on the alt text now. And do as Cirt suggested, get a peer review maybe from the biography group and then a copyedit from the WP:GOCE. BollyJeff | talk 12:28, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Bollyjeff: But, didn't Cirt say to change the ALT text? I used the layout of Brad Pitt's article. Btw, I've requested a copy edit and peer review now AB01 I'M A POTATO 12:48, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Look at my question above yours on the GAR, and his response. Personally, I didn't think you even needed alt text to get to GA, but whatever. BollyJeff | talk 13:30, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome

[edit]

I appreciate your "thanking" me for the comment I posted at Talk:Katrina Kaif.

I think we all know there's WP:BIAS on Wikipedia regarding a scarcity of quality coverage of women compared to articles about men.

So I applaud your quality improvement efforts on the article Katrina Kaif.

I see you're taking my advice to proceed with help from the Guild of Copy Editors and a Peer Review, and I really appreciate that.

I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your quality improvement efforts,

Chali Gayi Ladki

Hello, long time! How are you? Did you see Gone Girl? What a fantastic film! I saw it last week, and I'm still having nightmares!! -- KRIMUK90  09:49, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pike was phenomenal! A Best Actress Oscar nod is locked. -- KRIMUK90  14:10, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I have seen everything that Fincher has directed. He is one of my most favourite directors. I especially love his Zodiac. -- KRIMUK90  09:54, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I know, the majority of movies in Bollywood are ridiculous. Even if they make something like Gone Girl, they will put in hammy and sappy back-stories to justify the woman's character. It's very rare to see original and interesting films made here. Honestly, this year there were just 4 good Hindi films—Queen, Haider, Finding Fanny and to a lesser extent Mardaani. -- KRIMUK90  10:13, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I follow it religiously. :) -- KRIMUK90  10:21, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, LOL!! -- KRIMUK90  10:29, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But, Smaro, you didn't named the best film of the year Dedh Ishqiya. And, It's obvious that you will never like a film starring Chopra. FYI, Mary Kom (film) was way better than Mardaani.—Prashant 19:13, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I heard Dedh Ishqiya's good too. But, Mary Kom, really? I've heard it's not that great AB01 I'M A POTATO 23:54, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, yeah Dedh Ishqiya was brilliant! Mary Kom was a huge disappointment though. Nothing good about it other than Chopra's performance. -- KRIMUK90  03:18, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't agree that it was disappointing. It was only a good, I agree, particularly for Chopra's performance. But, again in you will compare every movie with Million Dollar Baby then your expectations will fall short. In my opinion, the film was flawed in terms of editing and length. They hurried to large extent. They should have shown more about her growing years, her poverty. I heard Bhansali edited all those parts. The were shot but was edited out. Also, it was a bad decision to squeeze it in 2 hours, at least 3 hours was compulsory. But, Chopra's performance towered every flaw. Sometimes, the real talent of a great actress is seen in flawed films like Mary Kom and Mardaani. A great film makes an average performance look great despite a decent performances. In terms of everything, Mary kom was better than Mardaani.—Prashant 04:50, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
LOL! It's so difficult trying to read your comments. Half of those sentences make no sense to me. -- KRIMUK90  06:27, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Because truth is very hard to accept. And, you can't except the same. I don't have to cry on her shoulder s because this and next year is hers. And, after she signed another film with Bhansali, that year is also going to be hers. You keep start preparations to collect ideas to get her down at least on Wikipedia. Poor haters and their jealously. They can't see her happy. Shake it off.—Prashant 08:20, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I wish Chopra could read this. She would have ROFL-ed for sure. -- KRIMUK90  09:10, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Prashant!: I have an innocent question: are you by any chance Shakuntela on Pinkvilla? You sound sound much like him/her AB01 I'M A POTATO 09:27, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is Pinkvilla and that shit? I didn’t understand. What is Rofl?—Prashant 09:53, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is a wonderful website called "Google" where you can find out what they mean. :) -- KRIMUK90  09:56, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh reallt? I pray she could have seen it. She should know there are so many hypocrats trying to get her down and others up by praising immensely in their articles. It's a high time I expose your articles for being so fancruft. This that okay? But, I won't because I respect those actresses. First , start respecting women. You were the one, who sent threatening tweets to me, emails and posts. —Prashant 10:05, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

LOL, I don't have to waste my time in threatening you. With your behaviour, I don't doubt that every other person you meet ends up resenting you. -- KRIMUK90  10:10, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And every person meeting you, realises that how partial you are to all Bengali actress and others. No? Give me a break. Yes, everybody hates me. You know why? Because I always say truth, which they cant stand. Yes, my life will be difficult (you have siad so many times) . But, I'm happy. At least I'm honest and not a fake person like you. I trusted you and went on to share all my secrets. Even, i thiught that we are becoming friends. But.........—Prashant 10:20, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, most of the people I meet wouldn't care if I loved or hated Priyanka Chopra. Actors and actresses don't hold so much importance in most people's lives. LOL! And ermm...I don't remember sharing any secrets with you. I don't think I'd ever discuss my personal life with you. Also, when someone is honest and truthful, people respect them and not hate them. But when someone is immature and sily, they are made fun of. -- KRIMUK90  10:37, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, woahh! I don't think Krimuk is being biased to PC. If you're a fan of someone, you tend to unknowingly exaggerate some parts, and it looks like Krimuk is trying to improve the article from a non-fan's perspective. I'm guessing you guys are arguing about the last edits made on PC's page? In that case, PC did play brief roles in those 2 films, as the roles were of minimal importance. In fact, PC said that herself. As for the Kashibai role, it does look like a supporting role right now, but I guess you could take that bit out and wait for the film to release/wait for confirmation from PC. I don't get what's the big deal; so what if it is a supporting part? It's not the length, it's meatiness of the part that counts, as well as how you use it *winks* AB01 I'M A POTATO 00:20, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
For heaven's sake Pks110022, direct your bad-mouthing of others to Mary Kom for a change, and maybe the article won't be the creme de la creme crap it is now? —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 09:41, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First Kamal film

Hi AB01, I am pleased to inform you that my GA nomination for Aval Appadithan was passed straight (without any changes being asked to be made). THe film is the first Kamal Haasan film and the fourth Rajinikanth film to be given a GA status. Ssven2 (talk) 04:25, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Quick question

[edit]

Hey, just a quick question. I have been trying to find reliably published sources for the wins and nominations at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards for Vidya Balan's awards page. However, other than the 2013 ceremony I failed to find any. Any suggestions on what can be done? -- KRIMUK90  07:17, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Krimuk90: That's a hard one. I was trying to find a ref too. Indicine is the only one that has lists for both (this and this). I reckon they could be considered reliable. Or maybe you could use the cite episode tag (since it was aired on TV). Like, if you look here at ref #17, that's how I used it AB01 I'M A POTATO 09:56, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Phantom (2015 film)

[edit]

The article Phantom (2015 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Thank you today for the article, introduced: "Katrina Kaif's success could very well be the plot of a Bollywood film. Born in Hong Kong, she started modelling in London and impressed a filmmaker who cast her in his disastrous film. She soon became one of the most well-known faces in India. What she lacks in acting abilities, she makes up for by being a fantastic dancer, which is crucial in being a successful Bollywood heroine. In case you forget her name, you can get your answer here; it seems 200 million people did forget it."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:57, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
