Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Happy Ending (band), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.livingroomny.com/artist/happy-ending.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 00:16, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Happy Ending (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Chzz  ►  00:18, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Timmy Hill requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 16:21, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Guided by voices cool planet.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Guided by voices cool planet.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Unspecified source/license for File:Ready+Set+Rock+EP.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ready+Set+Rock+EP.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 20:00, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Freefalling660. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Children Medieval Band".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:Freefalling660/Children Medieval Band}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 21:27, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the page to Draft:Children Medieval Band and delayed deletion because I think the band is likely notable. Would you consider returning to the draft and giving it another shot? --ThaddeusB (talk) 14:00, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Ready+Set+Rock+EP.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Ready+Set+Rock+EP.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:24, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Children Medieval Band, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:30, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jeff Caldwell (soccer), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. The major concern when this article was deleted is that the subject doesn't meet WP:NFOOTBALL as he hasn't played in a professional match. If he actually plays in a game for the main New York City FC side then he will meet that standard and we can have an article on him, but that doesn't seem to have happened yet. Your draft article, Draft:100 Dougs

[edit]

Hello, Freefalling660. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "100 Dougs".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 18:33, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Freefalling660,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Jonathan Brown (American football), for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Major League Soccer transfers 2020, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chicago Fire (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

XFL roster templates

[edit]

Thanks for updating all of the XFL roster templates! I think the players should all be in the reserve section as "Unsigned" (except for Landry Jones), otherwise it looks like all of these players are currently under contract with their teams. XFL players don't have to sign their contracts until mid-December, but hopefully the league puts out information as players sign their contracts. Thoughts? Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

[edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Notice

The article Bobby Edwards (soccer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cowboys roster template

[edit]

Your edit at 15:18 on 21 December 2020 uses inaccurate information not based on the information from the official roster on the Dallas Cowboys website. If you would like to try and revise it again, please state your source of information. Opted out players can share numbers with active players due to the fact they are exempt from the team's official roster until the new league year in 2021, and therefore, Maurice Canady can share no. 28 with Rashard Robinson, and Stephen Guidry can share no. 17 with Malik Turner.

For reference, the official Cowboys roster on their website is cowboys.com/team/players-roster

Thanks so much!

Guided by Voices

[edit]

Hi Freefalling660, how are you? My name is Hiro, I am a contributor on the Dutch Wikipedia. My main focus lies with indie music. Guided by Voices has been an ongoing project for me for years. Album wise 'we' are complete but there are many topics to cover and update. Lately I've been considering to also update Wikidata. This is yet another huge project that I can't take on by myself. I am looking for others on other Wikipedia's to help me - I am the only one on the Dutch Wikipedia who writes about them. Since I noticed that you wrote the articles about GBV's latest releases, I would like to ask for your help. (The Italian Wikipedia has their articles about GBV more or less up to date as well, but the one responsible has been blocked.)

This is not something that has to, or can be, done overnight. The to do list is long, but would at least comprise the band members, individual songs and albums. It might have taken less effort to build the Great Wall. Humanity might achieve world peace before we will be done with updating Wikidata on everything GBV. Will you help me? Hiro (talk) 06:16, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tanner Arms requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Tanner_Arms.

Dates in Infobox

[edit]

Hi there, I noticed when updating player stats in the infoboxes, you've forgotten to update the "correct as of date" in the |club-update= field which is a couple of lines below in the code. Could you remember to update that field as well in your future updates? Just so that the date information matches (ex. so it doesnt say stats correct as of November 2021, but the stats are actually correct as of July 2022). I corrected this on Max Anchor, but noticed there's several other pages. Best, RedPatch (talk) 13:37, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of teams in ARCA articles

[edit]

Hi Freefalling660,
Thanks for all your edits on the ARCA articles in the last few days. I'm trying to find announcements of the teams/drivers in the edits you made on the 2023 ARCA season articles as well as your edit today on the Truck Series season article about Last Chance Racing as most if not all of them do not have citations and I can't find any of announcements of their 2023 plans after searching each driver/team on Google and on the ARCA Reddit page (which almost always catches announcements drivers/teams made, even on social media only). Can you go back and add citations for all of these teams/drivers?
