[edit]Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:George Floyd for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 17:33, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]KylieNectar, consider this a formal warning from an administrator: The Neutral point of view is a core content policy, and compliance with that policy is mandatory. We write about crimes and criminals neutrally and dispassionately, and let readers draw their own conclusions from the neutral content presented. If you cannot edit in the crime topic area without letting your rage and indignation get the better of you, then do not edit about crimes and criminals. And do not engage in personal attacks against your fellow editors. That misbehavior is contrary to policy. Cullen328 (talk) 22:36, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Okay. I personally think the accusations made against me are inappropriate but whatever KylieNectar (talk) 23:06, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
I believe my block should be undone as I have learned that using talk pages to air out personal opinions and start arguments is not an appropriate thing to do. I also believe the block was unnecessary in the first place as my edits to pages were never in bad faith and I had already apologized for my behavior. I was given a warning and was promptly blocked afterwards because I said that the accusations against me we untrue. I don’t think that me stating my opinion on accusations made against me was blocky worthy, as I have a right to state my opinion on accusations made against me. I promise to keep off of talk pages and all my edits to articles will remain in good faith. Very sad this had to happen in the first place, disappointed in myself. 1KylieNectar (talk) 01:06, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This doesn't come remotely close to addressing the very serious problems that lead to your block. Frankly, you were deeply, deeply in WP:0T territory so I'm not sure anything you say would be sufficient, but this most certainly doesn't come close. I think there's no realistic possibility you'll be unblocked in the near future. I think WP:SO is your best bet and, no sooner than six months from today, you'll need a massively more convincing unblock request, one that directly addresses your completely inappropriate actions here. You'll also all but certainly need a wide-ranging WP:TOPICBAN. I'll leave it to you to decide what that should cover, but it'll need to be large. Even then, given the concerns were firmly in WP:0T, you'll have a hard time getting unblocked. Yamla (talk) 11:31, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- for any reviewing admin, Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive1170#KylieNectar_is_not_here_to_build_an_encyclopedia;_transphobia_and_personal_attacks is the thread that led to my block. Star Mississippi 02:08, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- While I understand the block I do not appreciate how others in the thread made baseless claims and attacks. Yes, I did as well but I retracted it and paid my time. Sad that such hostility towards me was allowed. Not your doing, though. KylieNectar (talk) 04:43, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- Though I don’t see why you blocked me at all when I already issued a formal warning by someone else and the only thing I said after the warning was issued was that I thought the accusations were untrue. So, I’m confused why you thought I deserved a block when I already complied with a warning. KylieNectar (talk) 04:47, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
- Also, final thing, I’m pretty sure you’ve been using this site longer than I’ve been alive. If that gives any perspective to my behavior. I know it’s not an excuse, I just thought maybe you and admins might understand that I’m young. Again, not a justification at all. KylieNectar (talk) 04:53, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
