Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Festival_airlines.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 23:25, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the reassess. I'll make the appropriate changes and nominate it for GA in a couple of weeks after I fly out of ROA and take more extensive pictures of it to add for the GA nomination. Patriarca12 (talk) 04:19, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

April 2004 Utica tornado outbreak
I noticed that one of your edits to the April 2004 Utica tornado outbreak constituted changing the rating of the Utica tornado to EF3. Please keep in mind that the EF scale was not used until Febuary of 2007.
So just remember,
Do not change F scale ratings to EF scale ratings unless they happened after Febuary 2007, and that they are USA tornadoes. Only the USA uses the EF scale.

This month you have indicated new or continuing interest in WP:CHICAGO as either an active or semi-active member. The response to the project membership survey was strong enough that we should attempt to organize it in a more fully functional way. Please sign up at Wikipedia:CHICAGO/leadership if you would be willing to serve as a leader of the project from September 1, 2008 to February 28, 2009. The various leadership responsibilities are listed there. The roles will be somewhat similar to the roles of Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Coordinators. We are a less mature and developed project than WP:MILHIST however, so our division of roles will be slightly different. Please respond by the 23rd.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 18:59, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

sounds good...It's been so long since we set it in for review and we spent a lot of time getting it up to standards. Hopefully someone will look at it. Sox2321:24, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Since this seems like it is your first FAC, I wanted to make sure that you know that it is expected that you reply to user's FAC comments, and try to fix problems in the article. I also note that you have made one edit to the article since you started it (see this) and have not edited it since Nov. 2006 and have not replied at the FAC. The article has not had a peer review either. Do you intend to try and fix this in FAC? Ruhrfisch><>°°17:01, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
OK, good luck. Getting an article to FA is a huge amount of work, even more so in FAC, so I wish you all the best and will be watching the article and FAC. Ruhrfisch><>°°00:54, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I saw your note (at Ruhrfisch's talk page) requesting withdrawal; I'll take care of that for you. I'm glad you are enthusiastic about improving the article, and hope to see it back at FAC after you have a chance to spiff it up. Special thanks for considering the workload of FA reviewers - we are an oft neglected bunch! Thanks again. Maralia (talk) 01:31, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know and best of luck improving it. I owuld be glad to look at it periodically - fix a section and let me know and I will take a look. Ruhrfisch><>°°02:01, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
My apologies for the heavy-handed review of White Pines, I should have shown the consideration demonstrated by Ealdgyth. If you put it up for FA again and want me to check the wildlife, please ask - but no turkey (: jimfbleak (talk) 15:06, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I fixed that photo problem, a copy/paste error on Commons by me, probably using some automated tool like Commonist. Anyway, I made a few minor fixes on the text too. Too bad I wasn't around I could have spared you the onslaught, I knew that article wasn't ready, by the time I saw your message it was too late. Oh well, live and learn I guess. --IvoShandor (talk) 13:21, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for volunteering for a role in WP:CHICAGO. We still have no one to do the collaboration or the newsletter. Let me know if you would like to do either of these. Are you interested in overseeing the whole project. If so let me know. I will do it if no one else wants to.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 07:41, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
