Notice

The article President of Australia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article subject does not exist. There is no office called "President of Australia", the article has no references, all the info here was added by you who has no user page or user talk page 2 days ago.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 122.60.168.131 (talk) 06:28, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Adult & Teen Challenge, you may be blocked from editing. You simply cannot ever write anything that negative without it being paraphrased from a reliable source which you must cite. John from Idegon (talk) 04:45, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Unity (newspaper). John from Idegon (talk) 04:50, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies

[edit]

it seems I forgot to add sources to those two edits. I'll be at work most of the day tomorrow but if nobody's done it by then I'll make sure to source the Teen Challenge claims and I'll see what can be done about the Unity page. If there's any other edits I've made that you have issues for being unsourced or for another reason, let me know and I'll do what I can to fix them. I'm still a relatively novice editor, so I'm not 1000% up-to-speed on best practices. This post was made by orbitalbuzzsaw gang (talk) 05:00, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Will you please explain this comment? Let's not use words that may be offensive to a certain religion/group of people when discussing. Also, your comment neither explained why you opposed nor was constructive in any way. Please refrain from adding these kinds of comments in the future. Thank you. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 00:38, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Although the oppose did lack a comprehensive rationale, "Jesus Christ" is typical exclamatory parlance and Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED. There's nothing mildly uncivil about his use of that phrase, so please let us not go around sanctioning or haranguing people for it.--WaltCip-(talk) 12:46, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NOTCENSORED mainly refers to articles. Just please refrain from doing both things, they're both nonconstructive. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 13:25, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On 19 August 2020, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2020 Malian coup d'état attempt, which you nominated. Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at File:CoA-Commonwealth-New England.png. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

Your sandbox(es)

[edit]

Listen, mate, I'm reluctant to block you because you do have some mainspace contributions, but you need to stop creating alt-history/fake articles in your sandbox. We're not a webhost for this kind of thing, and your edit summaries (RE: Deletion Christ I get it, give me my editing priveliges back, i'm working on getting a miraheze wiki set up so i can keep my shit there) do not exactly inspire confidence that you understand that. There are allowances for testing, but clearly that's not what you're doing. The sandbox has been speedy deleted multiple times and deleted at MfD now as well. I don't know how to make it more clear for you that this is not allowed here, so let me spell it out a final time: stop using Wikipedia to create personal pseudo-articles for non-encyclopedic purposes. If you continue, I will block you as being not here to create an encyclopedia. ♠PMC(talk) 21:52, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Then you need to be more careful in the future. You have enough experience to not be accidentally creating articles willy-nilly, especially for something like this where you've been warned and the content has been deleted for the same issue previously. ♠PMC(talk) 22:02, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Latvian Green Party, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. --Vacant0 (talk) 17:59, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I recently nominated an article there yesterday (18 March) and it failed (you also opposed), so after going through all the comments and other nominations' comments I quickly realised where I might have gone wrong, let's say I said "Dr Nandipha was assaulted in her prison cell" in the blurb, would I be heading in the right direction or...? Please do help and Thank you in advance. dxneo (talk) 02:22, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Arab Maghreb Union. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Skitash (talk) 21:31, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

On 5 July 2024, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2024 United Kingdom general election, which you nominated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Schwede66 04:29, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Map on 2024 United Kingdom General Election

[edit]

Can we revert back to the original map on the 2024 UK GE article? It is more consistent with the previous elections + the map is already at the bottom as it is in other general election articles. 50.53.1.241 (talk) 05:26, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Italy, France, and Germany all have maps with margins on them This post was made by orbitalbuzzsaw gang (talk) 05:36, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
British elections have the margin maps on the bottom and the standard constituency maps in the infobox. This is uniform across all UK elections. 50.53.1.241 (talk) 05:41, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't mean it's the right way to do it This post was made by orbitalbuzzsaw gang (talk) 05:42, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Rsk6400 (talk) 13:06, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nippon Ishin no Kai, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Centre.

What even are those things?

[edit]

These things here. They look like apostrophes, but slanted and weighing twelve bytes more (rather than zero). Presuming they're not bundled with adware, how might I make them? InedibleHulk (talk) 18:40, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

They're what happens when you try to type ' on an iPhone keyboard, apparently. Also, love the username. This post was made by orbitalbuzzsaw gang (talk) 18:54, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Cool (and thanks). InedibleHulk (talk) 18:58, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
