Ping Fu

[edit]

Please discuss on the talk page before making unreferenced and/or negative commentary. There is no consensus for such changes as you are making, but feel free to discuss first on the article's talk page. Also, please acquaint yourself with WIkipedia's policy on Biographies of Living Person. First Light (talk) 02:45, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Ping Fu

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ping Fu. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. First Light (talk) 03:42, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Ping Fu. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Mediran (tc) 04:13, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Ping Fu, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 04:26, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
