I need a company page Article created

[edit]

I work in the marketing department of Cambridge University Press India, a part of University of Cambridge. I requested for the page to be created here- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_articles/Business_and_economics/Companies#C around a month back. I am new to Wikipedia and based on what I have read, I understand requesting for a page was the best way forward. Could you advise if I should write and article and request contributors to give it a shape?

  • First, nobody needs an article here. We are all volunteers here and just requesting an article does not necessarily mean it is going to be made. If you believe that the company is notable enough to merit an article here there are other avenues. First, please read our notability standards for companies here. Next read your first article. Make sure you read it thoroughly. It will explain some common pitfalls and mistakes that people make that end up getting their article deleted. Finally, you can use our article wizard to create a draft of the article. This will allow you create a draft that another, experienced, editor can review to make sure it follows all of our guidelines.
There is one thing that you must do first though. And this is very important. In order to comply with our Terms of Use Agreement you must disclose that you have a paid conflict of interest in this article. To cover all of your bases please add the following to your user page: {{paid|employer=Cambridge University Press India}}. If you want more help, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Stabila711 (talk) 09:33, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
