Definitions of genocide
If you are ever presented with the observation "I am also curious were you get the peculiar idea that genocide has multiple definitions?" please point them to an article I started back in July 2007 called genocide definitions -- PBS (talk) 11:37, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
- Interesting and very comprehensive. In the main, it seems that genocide comes along with an intent to destroy or eliminate the people being killed with only a few definitions including the intent to reduce the social or political power of a group. Based on your table, if I had to choose I'd go with the atrocities title for the Bangladesh article. But, luckily, I don't have to choose! --regentspark (comment) 15:48, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
Mrt3366 again
He has twice[1][2] today disruptively closed an RFC on the Rape culture article which I had initiated, this disruption has been so excessive I have had to start the RFC all over again. Please inform him as well as APL [3]they may not do this. Darkness Shines (talk) 17:18, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Let it be known
FYI for RegentsPark, Let it be known to HE who may accuse me of stalking him (see above) and come running to you that his current ANI has come up on my watchlist now 3 times.Crtew (talk) 13:57, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
- Diffs? --regentspark (comment) 12:54, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- It is here Mrt went admin shopping again, over his disruptive closures of the RFC. The admin brought it to ANI and as usual the pitchforks are out, every guy I have pissed off recently has popped in with their pitchforks thus far Waiting for the ones I have pissed off previously to wake up so we can have a real good mob & witch burning. Darkness Shines (talk) 13:02, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
A kitten for you!

Darkness Shines (talk) 15:51, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
RE
RP, I have replied to your message on the AN/I that is about a third party. You seem like a very nice person, and my comment there is in no way intended to be personal. After your comment though, I now see you as an involved editor, which I didn't up to this point. I just wanted to make that clear in case the third party and subject of the AN/I ever wants to make any complaints. Thank you for your advice in the past. And good luck, Crtew (talk) 15:52, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- No worries. I'll take a look but all three of you need to learn to chill. --regentspark (comment) 15:55, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- Glad to hear that. All the best in the future, Crtew (talk) 15:56, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Unblocking without consensus
I am appalled by your unblocking of User:Calton. Discussion was active and ongoing, and opinion on the unblocking was roughly evenly divided. To proceed without consensus and in the absence of an unblocking request on a matter that raised this much controversy - far more than I expected when I originally reported the incident - was clearly not an appropriate use of administrative tools, and at least borders on wheel warring. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 19:35, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- That's the way I read the consensus and the blocking admin seemed to think it fine. You'll find it hard to find anyone as uninvolved in this as I am, I never even heard of that particular user before, but feel free to seek a third opinion though I do urge you to first ask yourself whether it is better to let this go or better to hang on to it. --regentspark (comment) 20:07, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- I don't have any background on this, so the following comment may or may not be 100% applicable (I know, I usually despise it too when people start comments out like that). It's just the section title caught my eye on my watchlist, and it's a subject near and dear to my heart. If a discussion has gone on a while, and it doesn't look like a clear consensus for or against an unblock is going to happen, the default has to be to unblock. Active admin actions (ie blocking, as opposed to unblocking) should have consensus to stay enforced; a lack of consensus to un-enforce isn't good enough. Whether this applies to this particular case is an exercise left to the reader. --Floquenbeam (talk) 20:14, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- "When another administrator has already reversed an administrative action, there is very rarely any valid reason for the original or another administrator to reinstate the same or similar action again without clear discussion leading to a consensus decision." There was consensus to reimpose the block. There was no consensus to relift, and, quite frankly, the opinions of those editors who denied that the epithet involved was racist (whatever Calton's intent) were so poorly informed that they should have been discounted, leading to consensus to retain the block. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 20:21, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- (sneaking post in front of others). "There was consensus to reimpose the block". Oh. Sorry. Nevermind. --Floquenbeam (talk) 21:02, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Obviously as one of the more vocal opponents of unblocking, I am not altogether happy with the conclusion. I am in general agreement with Hullaballoo on what consensus is needed to keep a block in place, and what consensus is needed to unblock if there was a previous consensus that the original block was valid. The "Shall we endorse this block?" and "Now that the block is endorsed, shall we unblock?" discussions were in the same section and could be viewed as conflated, so while I disagree with your decision, I part ways with Hullaballoo when he says this hints on wheel-warring. On another aspect that concerns me "any further use of edit summaries to make any sort of disparaging comments about other editors will lead to another block" seems like only half a warning. Why is this limited to edit summaries? I understand it's not the intention to say that making disparaging comments about others elsewhere is OK, but I am concerned that a future incident will be excused with "Yes the comment was nasty, but it wasn't in an edit summary, so blocking for this would be very unfair!". Sjakkalle (Check!) 20:39, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- Good call, RP. I may even reconsider my break. See my note on LHvU's page. (LHvU himself seems to be just gently easing himself back in after a lengthy break for the same kinds of reasons as me. That's irony!) If Calton is reblocked now, I'm fucking gone. Not saying that in the hope of deterring anybody, mind you. More likely it'll encourage them. Anyway.
- @Floq, see you around, maybe. Weren't you going to start a wiki where editors are treated like adults?
- @Sjakkalle, I can't believe you think RP's unblock comment could function as a shield behind which Calton can henceforth personally attack people just as long as it's not in an edit summary. I can't believe you expressed that concern. Just my thought, feel free to comment, but I'm done in this thread. Not sure I'm not done altogether. Bishonen | talk 21:09, 13 March 2013 (UTC).
Well, I guess this settles the wheel warring thing. So what we're left with is a new life for someone who looks like a productive editor. Can't see much wrong with that so why don't we all just move on. --regentspark (comment) 22:37, 13 March 2013 (UTC).
- Because nothing is settled. You refuse to give a shred of an explanation as to how you "found consensus" to unblock in the discussion where more editors opposed the unblocking proposal than supported it, and where virtually all of those opposing the unblock rested their position, in whole or in part, on the well-grounded-in-policy-and practice argument that the blocked user had failed/refused to post a reasonable unblock request. It's also important to note that while BHG, the admin who reimposed the block, may agree with the unblock at this point, Giant Snowman, the admin who originally imposed the block, and whose action was upheld by a strong consensus, opposed the unblock proposal quite clearly: "the rationale for the (my) original block still stands; even the unblocking administrator admits that their actions were hasty at the least, and Calton has not provided a sufficient unblock request, nor attempted to deal with the issues at hand.[4]. There was no "clear discussion leading to a consensus decision," as required by WP:WHEEL, which is policy and which has a broader sweep than straight-out wheel warning. You should reverse your inappropriate actions immediately. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 01:45, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but I can't really help you. There is no wheel warring. I've read consensus as an uninvolved admin. Apparently your reading of the consensus is different but that's often what happens in subjective situations. Since enough people feel that the outcome is a fair one, I suggest letting it go. It's your call. --regentspark (comment) 12:53, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
I saw the unblock and I wanted to come here and thank RP for a fair assessment of the discussion. I support this unblock and I deplore the torch and pitchfork crowd who place emotions and rhetoric above reason and argument. Thank you for exercising your admin tools with exceptional grace and calm demeanor. Viriditas (talk) 02:32, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

You might welcome them back but I am not so sure. Courteous language, worded in a non-threatening manner, it may be, but I don't appreciate people telling me that they can "open tor nodes and annoy the crap out of [me]." - Sitush (talk) 23:46, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
- I hear ya. I must admit that this whole caste thing beats the heck out of me. I tried reading the exchange you've linked to above but it made no sense to me at all. Tell me when it gets out of hand and I'll try to deal with it. --regentspark (comment) 01:26, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

... Please could you give me a definition of the word "usurped", without looking at a dictionary. You banned me for not going with consensus made | here. Now I have removed all the factual errors mentioned by obinicanibe2 and removed the tag. But without mentioning further factual issues he is introducing tags. You should be fair and take action against him/her. Caste system in India
You';ve just reverted a contribution by Indopug around the same time that I reverted a change made by them at Herbert Hope Risley which dealt with more or less the same point. I left a note on their talk page but before I ask at WP:RX for a copy of the Cambridge Journals-hosted source referenced in the edit you reverted, I wonder whether you have a copy/access to it? A 50 y.o. source for caste theory is likely to be outdated but I'd like to read it in connection with the Risley article because I hope one day to take that to FAC. - Sitush (talk) 15:04, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
- I do have access to the journal, but only physical copies. I'll try to make a library visit on Monday. --regentspark (comment) 17:10, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
- Darn t, I meant Indoscope above. Thanks but don't go out of your way - I'll get it via WP:RX, where some people seem to have access to Cambridge Journals from their own home/student accommodation etc. - Sitush (talk) 17:18, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
- The library is only a couple of blocks away so it's not a big deal. Let me know if you can't get it the easy way. --regentspark (comment) 17:22, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've got it via RX, thanks. A first, quick glance at the thing shows no mention of Risley, which makes the Indoscope contributions even more out of place. Perhaps my eyes are failing me. - Sitush (talk) 20:46, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
- I suppose I should be surprised, shocked even :) --regentspark (comment) 21:37, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
- Surprised/shocked concerning the contributions or my eyesight? Given my recent horrendous misjudgement at Ezhava, well, anything could happen. My effort there was off-beam and I am struggling to fathom my choice of words given that I am well aware of the general usage for "untouchability" in Kerala, the lunatic asylum of castes. If you have the time and inclination, then perhaps you could read the thing yourself? I do understand the point that the contributor was trying to make but the Risley connection just does not seem to be there in the source. But given recent events I feel that I cannot trust my own judgement. - Sitush (talk) 00:33, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

- When I deleted it, I moved it into userspace here. Easiest to make your modifications there for the time being. BTW, the two sources you've provided are not reliable sources and are not enough. You should look for something in the news that clearly makes an assertion that GNFE is a notable organization. --regentspark (comment) 12:59, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
this two links is governmental. and that fact DON'T prove notability of network (GNFE)? besides there have links in Turkish and İndonesian. http://ugm.ac.id/ugm/en/news/5469-ugm.researchers.perform.atropatena.research.for.earthquake.prediction http://www.maipark.com/news/detail/news/under-research-atropatena-as-a-tool-for-earthquake-prediction http://www.milliyet.com.tr/prof-dr-halilov-japonya-nin-tehlikede-oldugunu-soylemisti/dunya/haberdetay/12.03.2011/1363227/default.htm thank you for helpIsark Vali (talk) 06:46, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- The links only demonstrate the existence of GNFE, which was not the issue in the deletion discussion. An organization becomes notable only when it is reviewed, discussed, or featured in reliable secondary sources. You need to find something, a news story perhaps, where the organization is featured or mentioned in a non-peripheral way. --regentspark (comment) 12:45, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

Darkness Shines
RegentsPark,
Darkness Shines has gone too far this time. He first proposes a delete for Ahmed Ziauddin, which he doesn't get, then he proposes a merge, which doesn't work, and so he simply deleted it as a redirect. And he knew there was a history of people telling him no and the article should be kept. I demand that this article be restored and will take whatever steps are necessary to see that he is properly taken care of. How do I get this restored? Where is the material? Crtew (talk) 21:47, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- What peculiar questions, you already reverted my redirecting of the article. Which I did according to policy, WP:BLP1E. Darkness Shines (talk) 22:18, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes. I see it is already restored so there's nothing much to do here. I looked at the deletion discussion and a merge is not unreasonable (most comments indicated a preference for merge and the one user - now vanished (what happened?) - who didn't provided references that do somewhat support BLP1E. Regardless of all that, consensus for a merge hasn't actually been determined so, DS, I suggest you take this elsewhere. Absolutely no more redirects or attempts to merge Ahmed Ziauddin anywhere without a clear consensus. I've been studiously trying to avoid commenting on the AN3 diff DS provides in the section above but what the heck. Let's just say that Crtew's comment was neither disruptive nor called for. It would have been better not to have brought up the past in what was an unrelated incident but there is nothing actually wrong with doing so. Make what you will of that but there is nothing actionable anywhere in all of this. --regentspark (comment) 22:29, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Erm, sorry about this RP but I already nominated it for deletion per ONEEVENT & BLP1E. Merger discussions never get outside input, is there a noticeboard for them? Darkness Shines (talk) 22:36, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- No special forum. But the nomination for deletion is the right way to go about it so no worries. --regentspark (comment) 23:04, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

- Thanks. Don't we have to get it above 5000 words or something like that?--regentspark (comment) 22:47, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- 1500 characters. I didn't count but I'm sure it's long enough. What are you, a DYK virgin? I hope you saw the hook; that was about the most exciting thing I could come up with; feel free to propose something more interesting. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 23:02, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

WP:ARBIPA
Per principal 1 & 4 of this arbitration finding I am going to replace Mar4d on the list of editors warned for this I would appreciate your advice beforehand. I also need to point out this Which I believe he said he would stop. I did not pass myself off as an admin, and he knows that yet continues to repeat it. Darkness Shines (talk) 04:43, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Please be my guest. Be assured that if you do that, I'll be the first one to revert. I cannot stand blatant WP:POV-pushing and my stance on that article is clear. Also, tendentious, consensus-violating and dispute-escalating actions like these are not going to earn you any brownie points. If anything, it is only fast convincing me that a topic ban discussion is in order soon. Mar4d (talk) 11:00, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- DS, I don't think what Mar4d says is a violation. Strong perhaps, and the what world part would have been better left out, but the comment is largely about content. I'd just ignore it, we've all seen a lot worse. --regentspark (comment) 12:57, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- You say we all should ignore a slew of direct vituperation against dissenters? That Pakistani Mar4d wrote in the edit summary "you're a joke". On the talk he wrote, "Let me get this right, you're just being the typical hardcore fundamentalist/nationalist POV-pusher that you usually are." -- can he prove that I am a fundamentalist (assuming that comment was directed at me)? A warning from you perhaps would have been better.
I think when we ask DS not to behave abusively, we should not step back from warning the other guy also if he is being needlessly offensive. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 13:54, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Mrt, what Mar4d says in the diff is not particularly abusive. And, do note that amongst the slew of admins who haunt these articles, I'm perhaps the least critical of DS! But, on second thoughts, perhaps you're right and I'll drop a note on Mar4d's talk page asking him to strike out some of those remarks. --regentspark (comment) 13:57, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- OK. I've asked him to either strike out the statements or to back them up. --regentspark (comment) 14:03, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- RP, I will accept your advise on the matter Re Mar, and what of this? I really cannot have him popping up all the time with that accusation. Darkness Shines (talk) 17:33, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- He didn't strike it, now what?
"what Mar4d says in the diff is not particularly abusive." — I beg to differ, it was an extremely snide comment in that context. This really hampers the collegial flow of the conversation.
You know I didn't intentionally use the "P-word" as an ethnic slur, it was an honest mistake. Upon being cautioned, I immediately striked it out.Now you think I should keep on ignoring when Mar4d repeatedly labels me as a Nationalist-Fundamentalist and mehrajmir says DS and I are working for the Hindu-extremist groups; what on earth is going on? Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 06:24, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- Mrt, you've gone around accusing him of pushing a Pakistani agenda and speculated about his motives as well. I don't know who started all this but let's just end it here and return to normal content stuff. --regentspark (comment) 09:30, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I, for one, striked it as quickly as possible, he on the other hand refused to do so even when you asked him.
There is no speculation now, I am 100% convinced he is pushing a pro-Pakistani agenda (I called him "Pakistani" to demonstrate an inherent bias in favor of Pakistani POV), with that said, I didn't label him or liken him to an "extremist" or a "fundamentalist". That is taking it too far, I would say.
Of course, I will take a block from you on grounds of incivility any day if you deem it necessary and I am not asking for his block.
I am satisfied with your actions. But kindly keep a close eye on Mar4d's pointy edits. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 13:14, 12 April 2013 (UTC) - Are you there? Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 07:11, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

- Well, I am a human too, I can feel slighted too: Mar4d came up to me and said, "Oh shut it please, I have had enough of your constant blabbering every now and then". Guarantee me (asking you since you know the graveness of the abuses more closely than probably any other admin here) that the next time you see me or him abusing or directly insulting the other on any page with the exception of our own talks, you will block that person right there. Assure me. Eternal lenience is not going to cut it with Mar4d. I am telling you again, he is hell-bent on pushing Pakistani agenda. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 06:41, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes. I assure you that if either of you make any personal remarks to the other editor, including "shut it" or accusations of bad faith editing, I'll begin issuing escalation blocks on that editor. I'm posting this on your's as well as Mar4d's talk pages as well. --regentspark (comment) 13:23, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Merge discussion for Opium Wars
Hi. There has been a reopened discussion ongoing at Talk:First Opium War#Merge discussion to merge the contents of Opium Wars into First Opium War and Second Opium War. A consensus seems to have been reached among all the users who contributed to the lede/Opium Wars#Overview section, and merging may be imminent. You have been identified as a major contributor of the article about to be abolished (see: User:Kiyoweap/Opium Wars) and thus are welcomed to participate in the merge, especially in the sections which you have contributed. Or, any other input under the Merge discussion thread given above would be appreciated. Thanks. --Kiyoweap (talk) 04:46, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
DYK for Great Eastern Hotel (Kolkata)
On 18 April 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Great Eastern Hotel (Kolkata), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Great Eastern Hotel in Kolkata, built in 1840 or 1841, is thought to be the first hotel in India with electricity? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Great Eastern Hotel (Kolkata). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

While commenting here,I have seen the topic of the article have some Indian part too. Then,Is it likely to have WikiprojectIndia as i think.---zeeyanwiki discutez 19:28, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
- I have the vague idea that the earthquake was centered mainly in Pakistani Kashmir but the article says 1400 deaths in J&K, which is certainly not trivial. So, yes, I agree. --regentspark (comment) 19:34, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Now the article and category don't match
Hello RegentsPark, The article Azerbaijani people that you archived its discussion on 21 February 2013, now dont match the category with the same name, Category:Azerbaijani people . Please see our discussion on Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2013 April 18#Category:Azerbaijani people. Please solve the confussion and make a disambiguation for the article and the category.
By the way, I suggest you check the definition in Oxford dictionary for Azeri and Azerbaijani. The discussion on 21 February 2013 was based on 'google hits' and as 65.92.180.137 said at the end, the 3,360 hits included both country and ethnicity. But if we move the article to Azeri as Oxford and other sources, the problem will be solved. Anyways please make the category and the article have the same name and disambiguate them please.--Taranet (talk) 11:24, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Taranet. I'm not sure what you want me to do. You could align the categories and make the disambiguation page yourself. If you need some admin help (like deleting something) let me know. Also, note that I have no opinion on Azeri vs. Azerbaijani people but merely closed a move discussion based on the evidence provided. If you think there is new evidence, you can always initiate a new move request. --regentspark (comment) 15:21, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
Running out of admins
We seem to be in a (temporary) state of running out of admins who have an interest in Indic stuff. Eg: Boing!, Qwyrxian and Blade are all more or less out of action. There is definitely no need for you to get involved in the awkward policy sense but could you please add Udayar (caste) to your watchlist while I try to sort out what is going on - a claim has been made that seems to contradict sources for that article but I need to compare it with sources for the attempted redirect. I don't have time to start a discussion now but will endeavour to do so tomorrow. - Sitush (talk) 23:37, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
Problematic user
I was wondering if you could drop a message, or a warning, to Chaiyan anantasat (talk · contribs). All this user seems to be doing is changing a bunch of links to what they feel should be the correct wording, even though this is leading to redlinks. I've asked them to stop on their talkpage, but am getting no response, and not even edit summaries are used. It seems they took similar actions and received similar warnings in earlier bouts of editing as well. Regards, CMD (talk) 10:46, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Warned. --regentspark (comment) 14:16, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, hopefully that'll work. If you don't mind another question, do we have a clear policy on articles like the new French Comoros? Is it a potential copyvio? It's entirely unsourced, and it appears from the users talkpage that they had a similar issue with another article in the past. I'll drop a note on their talkpage. CMD (talk) 00:59, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- The material is lifted from History of Comoros. I've restored the redirect. --regentspark (comment) 12:53, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

Hey RP, hows tricks? Can you do me a favour please and look at this I am sorely tempted to remove the RFC ID as this is the third time Mckhan has posted (more or less) this same bloody question. - Yeah, it's always a fine judgement call whether it would do more harm than good to get involved in something like this. I really appreciated your wisdom that the passion is sometimes what gets things done; the trouble it it can be wearing on others to deal with. I'm certainly happy to leave this one for now; of course if I see DS messing about with sources or edit-warring, I might still give them an enforced break. But there's almost always a better way than blocking or threatening to block. Thanks again. --John (talk) 20:53, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

See, now I am pissed off with you cos you never told me you had access to this. If you have a few moments can you see if this is there Stateless Refugees and the Right to Return: The Bihari Refugees of South Asia I need to know what this paper says about the Mukti Bahini or the Bangladesh liberation war. Darkness Shines (talk) 20:50, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Sure. But in a couple of hours. Have to finish up some work and then get home. --regentspark (comment) 20:53, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- I've looked and it isn't there. International Journal of Refugee Law is hosted by Oxford Journals. There are people at WP:RX who have access to that. - Sitush (talk) 21:03, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Shite, I do not mind begging from those I do know, not about to go asking total strangers for help, I am funny that way sorry . I just needed to know how far a source had been misrepresented. Thanks anyway. Darkness Shines (talk) 21:09, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- I have access to jstor too. Want? --Tito Dutta (contact) 21:26, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) The regulars at RX are great folks and they're there because they want to help. If I thought that the source has been misrepresented then I'd certainly chance my arm there and, indeed, I use it quite a lot. A lot of them post the result up to the cloud or similar, then you download from that. @Tito: it isn't there, mate. - Sitush (talk) 21:30, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Emailed to you DS. Part 1. Still looking for part 2. --regentspark (comment) 21:30, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Woah! It is there? Does WP's version of JSTOR access differ? - Sitush (talk) 21:33, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Part 2 sent. No, it isn't on jstor but I have access to oxford journals as well. Par 2 was on something called HeinOnline. (I have access to an excellent library!) --regentspark (comment) 21:35, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Eh, what is not and where? And ya Wikipedia RX's JSOTR is different, see here --Tito Dutta (contact) 21:37, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Jstor is different for different users - depends on what subscriptions the user has. --regentspark (comment) 21:40, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- (ecx3)Got it,
Tg, sorry Faizan had not misrepresented it, obviously he just went off the abstract and muffed it up. Thanks I can use this in my rewrite off the article. Darkness Shines (talk) 21:41, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

WMF IRC
Do you know answer of this question: User_talk:Sitush#WMF_IRC? --Tito Dutta (contact) 21:38, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- I've indicated my complete ignorance on Sitush's talk page! --regentspark (comment) 21:42, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Why do you want to know? Darkness Shines (talk) 21:48, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yes. Ask DS. The FSB know everything :) --regentspark (comment) 21:50, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- That was mentioned in that INB thread. It is necessary to know who actually own that channel before attempting to revive it! --Tito Dutta (contact) 21:53, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
