Deletion of Georgette Gomez

Hi Rick, You have deleted the article because of WP:G7, however, Im not sure why that occurred. The format/text matched existing articles within that field. If you can clarify that would be great. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leo1453 (talkcontribs) 20:08, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

G7 is due to the author blanking or requesting deletion, which looks like was the case previously, but not now. I'd be happy to restore it, and remove the CSD tag. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:10, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

Deletion of Anders Fogh Jensen

Hi Rick You have deleted the article because of copyright violoation, but the text which is used is not copyrighted. Can you please undo the deletion of the article? --Rhoegh (talk) 14:50, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

The problem is that this is a word-for-word copy of this site: [1]. There's nothing on the site that indicates that this is free use, moreover, Wikipedia shouldn't be used as a web host to re-publish pages such as this. I'm not against the page existing, but it needs to not be a full transcript of the website. RickinBaltimore (talk) 14:58, 30 November 2016 (UTC)

Deletion nomination of HSG Sirikot Online Solutions Limited

Dear Rickin,

You have tagged my compnay page with deletion tag, i respect your work for Wikipedia as well as Wikipedia standards but my company is registered and legal comapny have right to include in Wikipedia articles, please help me to make that article as Wikipedia saying. Kindly please dont ask for news and etc as the company is newly incorporated but have legal and active status in London, United Kingdom. Thanks and Regards--Syed Saqib Imad 16:02, 16 September 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Innocentbadshah (talkcontribs)

I understand you exist and are incorporated, but there is a set of standards that all articles must meet. For companies this is WP:CORP. These are guidelines that a subject involving a company must meet that are listed there. To quote the article:

"A company, corporation, organization, school, team, religion, group, product, or service is notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in secondary sources. Such sources must be reliable, and independent of the subject. A single independent source is almost never sufficient for demonstrating the notability of an organization." Your company simply does not meet this right now. RickinBaltimore (talk) 16:24, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for your attention, as it is newly incorporated company please give some time for coming in news sources very soon you will see thousands of sources will describing about it. If you understand to delete the page you can delete it as i am not forcing anything and i always respect for Standards and Contributors like you. Thanks and Regards--Syed Saqib Imad 18:07, 16 September 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Innocentbadshah (talkcontribs)
No problem, if indeed there is coverage later on, I won't be opposed to having the article added later. Also, please read over the article we have on conflict of interest, which you would have in this case. RickinBaltimore (talk) 18:08, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
Ok Dear take decision at your best as i am not too much familiar with Wikipedia, please accept apologies from my side if i did anything wrong. Thanks and regards--Syed Saqib Imad 18:53, 16 September 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Innocentbadshah (talkcontribs)

Want to help test advanced new tools planned for Recent Changes?

Hi Rick! I’m reaching out to you because our logs tell us you’re a very active Twinkle user (top 25, actually!). The WMF Collaboration team is working on new tools that we hope will be useful to people engaged in reviewing recent changes, fighting vandalism or supporting new users. We want to test them for usability with editors who are experienced with relevant wiki work. If you’re interested in helping to shape this new technology—we’d like to hear from you.

The testing should take about an hour, will be conducted online, and will take place during the next few weeks. To participate, please email dchen[at]wikimedia.org with the subject line Twinkle User. Include the following information:

  • Username
  • Email where we can reach you
  • Your city or time zone
  • Best time to talk to you
  • Your primary use of Twinkle or Recent Changes (e.g., reviewing recent changes, reviewing with a particular focus (specify), anti-vandalism, new-page review, welcoming new users, etc.)

Thanks! Dchen (WMF) (talk) 17:46, 19 September 2016 (UTC)

Email sent with info! (Top 25? Wow!) RickinBaltimore (talk) 18:37, 19 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2016–17 Major Arena Soccer League season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages St. Louis Ambush and Harrisburg Heat. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This happened less than a minute after the page was created. Admittedly, the page is not likely to go anywhere, but let's give the guy a few minutes to see where he's taking it. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:36, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Well, I see what you are saying, but check out the history here: Show Bizi Shqiptar. It's been deleted 2 time previously for A7, G11. Plus seeing the user who created, I'm pretty sure we are going to have another A7 case at the least. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:37, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi Rick, I’ve just been having another look at your entry at WP:ORCP. It may well be time for you to take a serious decision now. Let me know what you think. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:52, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Hey Kudpung, thanks for chiming in on this. Actually I am very ready to go for that RfA, in fact I was in discussion with KrakatoaKatie about this prior to Katie's CU nomination, and Katie was willing to nominate me. Just waiting on that and then I'll be ready to go. RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:38, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
Let's do it, then. Email me with your answers to the three questions and I'll start putting together my statement. If Kudpung wants to co-nom, that'd be awesome! Otherwise, you should get at least one co-nom. Doesn't have to be an admin. Katietalk 13:00, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

MyExamCloud - I change the citation url

Dear RickinBaltimore (talk),

As per WP:CSD and WP:A7 I change the citation url other than my website or product. Please remove WP:CSD tag or correct me further more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ponduraisingh (talkcontribs) 14:27, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

As I said on the talk page, even though you changed a citation tag the product still doesn't meet WP:GNG. The sources given are from the developer, therefore they are not independent reliable sources. Unless you can show that this has been covered in independent sources, it's just not notable. Good luck, and a suggestion

I have posted my support at your RfA (a page I had watchlisted even before you created it). Just a suggestion: proofread your answers and correct a few minor typos (and box for sandbox, ghe for he). And continue to do that as you answer additional questions. It just looks more professional, and uncorrected typos can turn people off. Good luck, you are off to a great start! --MelanieN (talk) 03:23, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Gah, typos. Bane of my existence I swear. Thanks for the heads up! RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:29, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

RfA suggestion

Hi Rick, good luck with the RfA which I'll visit soon. I strongly recommend any previous RfAs, and other nominations, get mentioned in the Discussion section or near the top. Rather than me asking you publicly to disclose everything and/or getting something wrong and/or missing something, and considering my questions don't always come across in the right way, I suggest you do it yourself already. -- zzuuzz (talk) 08:01, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for that idea, I'll get that added on during the day today! RickinBaltimore (talk) 12:31, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
Just a side note, I did address that in one of the answers earlier today, and disclosed my previous failed RfA years ago, and the ArbCom election last year. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:38, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted

Hello RickinBaltimore. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as mark pages as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.

  • Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
  • You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
  • Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
  • Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.

The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator. MusikAnimal talk 02:25, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

PS – by the time the "patrol" right is removed from the autoconfirmed and reviewer user groups, you will likely be an admin, making this redundant. Still, you qualify under our grandfathering criteria so I'm adding it anyway :) MusikAnimal talk 02:25, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for adding it for me, and we will see about the RfA though so far the community thinks I've earned the right to help as an admin. RickinBaltimore (talk) 18:03, 2 November 2016 (UTC)

A cup of tea for you!

Looks like your RfA is going well (hurrah!) - but have a nice cup of tea to keep you going through the last couple of days! (I'm informed that you're not allowed to drink and answer questions, otherwise it'd be a beer ;-) ) Mike1901 (talk) 11:07, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

If you keep insisting on reporting disruptive accounts to UAA so fast, I'm going to have to oppose your (overwhelmingly supported) RfA. Your edit conflict of my edit disrupted me, and I'm terribly put out. Knock it off!

Guess I'm just going to have to do the next best thing and work on the UAA backlog soon then huh? :) RickinBaltimore (talk) 19:10, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Seriously, congratulations on your RfA. I know it's not over yet, but very well deserved. I'd vote for you, but have little interest in pile on votes, though if you get close to being added to WP:200 I'll throw my name on the pile as I do strongly support you. --Hammersoft (talk) 19:16, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
    • Thanks very much for your support on that, I've been amazed at how highly I've been regarded in the supports so far. I mean I knew I helped out here, but I didn't realize it was that big of an impact. RickinBaltimore (talk) 19:19, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
  • Ah, I see. So what you're saying is you're counting votes rather than reviewing consensus. You've just ruined your chances. You obviously can't judge consensus at such places as AfD. ;) --Hammersoft (talk) 19:27, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

welcome to the mop corps

Congratulations on your successful RFA!
Allow me to impart the words of wisdom I received from the puppy after my RFA passed – nine long, sordid, I-really-should-have-found-a-better-hobby years ago:
  1. Remember you will always protect the wrong version. (I got nothing here. It's inevitable.)
  2. Remember you must always follow the rules, except for when you ignore them. Without exception, you will pick the wrong one to do. (See #5.)
  3. Remember to assume good faith and not bite. Remember that when you are applying these principles most diligently, you are probably dealing with a troll. (You'll attract many more of those now, because mop. They must like to drink the dirty water in the bucket.)
  4. Use the block ability sparingly. Enjoy the insults you receive when you do block, because really, what else is there to live for?
  5. Remember that when you make these errors, someone will be more than happy to point them out to you in dazzling clarity and descriptive terminology. It will not be a personal attack because we are admins and, therefore, we are all rouge anyway.
  6. Finally, remember to contact me if you ever need assistance, and I will do what I am able.

I can see what I can do, what seems to be the issue? RickinBaltimore (talk) 17:30, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
I'm new to the merger process; could you make a judgement on the result of Talk:Leeds. I personally think a rough consensus has been reached but I proposed the merge so I'm biased; all unanswered points brought up recently (almost 48 hours) have now been answered. The merger topic has been up a week; perhaps it's too early but people said they were fed up with previous discussions which have led to ridiculous back and forward argument of the same point for months on end and this one looks like it's heading that way soon. Excluding IP addresses (because they both only made no or just one edit excluding the merger discussion) so I don't know whether to include them; it appears there are five users in support, one neutral and one oppose. As I mentioned though, I'm new to the process and who supports what is somewhat ambiguous. Thanks. Leeds United FC fan (talk) 17:36, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
I'll have a look at it and see what's there and what type of consensus is gathered. RickinBaltimore (talk) 17:38, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Looking at the discussion, there does seem to be a divide if there's a need to merge. I'm not seeing a full consensus as of yet, however what I'd recommend is go to proposed mergers and see if you can get a wider consensus. The IP hasn't edited, I'd agree, but they did bring up some points to consider. I'd start with WP:PM first and go from there. It's possible you might get a wider consensus for the merger. I'm staying neutral on this at the moment, as I'd like to see more of a consensus on the merge. RickinBaltimore (talk) 17:49, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Ok, thanks! Leeds United FC fan (talk) 17:50, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for block

Thank you for blocking IP 118.92.205.124 here. Would you kindly keep an eye on this editor when he comes off block. He is a most persistent offender. His disruptive edits are to exactly the same articles, and with the same content or deletions, that have been disrupted by previous IP's, so the pattern that emerges is that he is an IP hopper who returns to the same articles time and time again. He is sure to start again, so if I may, I will contact you when I see him editing the articles he has messed with in the past. Akld guy (talk) 20:44, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

I can do that, sure if it starts up again after the block, just go ahead and send it to AIV, in case I'm not around. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:48, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Thanks. Akld guy (talk) 20:49, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
More on this. The IP has started his disruptive edits again, mostly to articles about the Philippines. Some of his edits seem to be worthwhile...it's kind of hard to tell since I know nothing about Philippine broadcasters. When I reverted one of the disruptive ones, he retaliated by returning to Onehunga Branch, which he knows I watch. He deleted the list of stations on the Onehunga Line. Over the past few months he has done that repeatedly, under IP's 27.252.142.124 and 27.252.145.37. You can see this in the history since September. Would you kindly edit-protect Onehunga Branch or otherwise block him for a longer period. Akld guy (talk) 07:09, 12 November 2016 (UTC)

User space subpage deletion question

Hi. Since you deleted Brandon Matula, I thought you might like to do the same for User:Nickpetro/sandbox. If a CSD tag is required first, maybe you could do the honors and let someone else delete; I can't find a guideline making exceptions for user sandbox pages, but it seems as if nuking it instantly ought to be a possibility. This is clearly a vandalism-only account, probably a kid taunting a classmate, but I guess there aren't enough edits yet to warrant a block. Rivertorch's Evil Twin (talk) 21:44, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

And gone, that was a clear attack page (CSD G10 would apply here). I just indef'd them as well, all their edits were to attack that person calling them gay. WP:NOTHERE and no longer here. RickinBaltimore (talk) 21:52, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Thanks. And here I was thinking common sense had just gone extinct. Rivertorch's Evil Twin (talk) 05:18, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Two-Factor Authentication now available for admins

Hello,

Please note that TOTP based two-factor authentication is now available for all administrators. In light of the recent compromised accounts, you are encouraged to add this additional layer of security to your account. It may be enabled on your preferences page in the "User profile" tab under the "Basic information" section. For basic instructions on how to enable two-factor authentication, please see the developing help page for additional information. Important: Be sure to record the two-factor authentication key and the single use keys. If you lose your two factor authentication and do not have the keys, it's possible that your account will not be recoverable. Furthermore, you are encouraged to utilize a unique password and two-factor authentication for the email account associated with your Wikimedia account. This measure will assist in safeguarding your account from malicious password resets. Comments, questions, and concerns may be directed to the thread on the administrators' noticeboard. New deal for page patrollers

Hi RickinBaltimore,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

I think I misunderstood because the name of the article is same. Thank you – GSS (talk) 14:58, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

Sure thing, that's fine. RickinBaltimore (talk) 15:01, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

A new user right for New Page Patrollers

Hi RickinBaltimore.

A new user group, New Page Reviewer, has been created in a move to greatly improve the standard of new page patrolling. The user right can be granted by any admin at PERM. It is highly recommended that admins look beyond the simple numerical threshold and satisfy themselves that the candidates have the required skills of communication and an advanced knowledge of notability and deletion. Admins are automatically included in this user right.

It is anticipated that this user right will significantly reduce the work load of admins who patrol the performance of the patrollers. However, due to the complexity of the rollout, some rights may have been accorded that may later need to be withdrawn, so some help will still be needed to some extent when discovering wrongly applied deletion tags or inappropriate pages that escape the attention of less experienced reviewers, and above all, hasty and bitey tagging for maintenance. User warnings are available here but very often a friendly custom message works best.

If you have any questions about this user right, don't hesitate to join us at WT:NPR. (Sent to all admins).MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:47, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

New Page Review needs your help

Hi RickinBaltimore,

As an AfC reviewer you're probably aware that a new user right has been created for patrolling new pages (you might even have been granted the right already, and admins have it automatically).

Since July there has been a very serious backlog at Special:NewPagesFeed of over 14,000 pages, by far the worst since 2011, and we need an all out drive to get this back down to just a few hundred that can be easily maintained in the future. Unlike AfC, these pages are already in mainspace, and the thought of what might be there is quite scary. There are also many good faith article creators who need a simple, gentle push to the Tea House or their pages converted to Draft rather than being deleted.

Although New Page Reviewing can occasionally be somewhat more challenging than AfC, the criteria for obtaining the right are roughly the same. The Page Curation tool is even easier to use than the Helper Script, so it's likely that most AfC reviewers already have more than enough knowledge for the task of New Page Review.

It is hoped that AfC reviewers will apply for this right at WP:PERM and lend a hand. You'll need to have read the page at WP:NPR and the new tutorial.

Thanks. Block-evading sock. IPs from Germany on these topics always will be. Various accounts were blocked a couple of days ago. Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ezidishingali. Doug Weller talk 19:42, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up on that. Looks like the page was protected for 6 months not too long ago, might need it again. RickinBaltimore (talk) 19:47, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Forgot to congratulate you. Always glad to help, contact me anytime. Doug Weller talk 20:05, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi Rick, the copyvio tool won't hit on that because it is pulled from a textbook. You have to compare the old fashioned way: compare the text of the article to the book on Google Books: [4]. CrowCaw 17:20, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Thank you, Yup, it's 100% pulled from the book. RickinBaltimore (talk) 17:24, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Christine Jax (and mid-air admin conflict)

Hi. I just deleted this article via WP:CSD#G11 (I also think it's a probable copyvio but haven't checked), but I believe the claim of being the chief academic officer of a possibly notable organisation and meeting two US presidents is enough to clear A7, so I just about to restore it and change into a redirect to Digital Media Arts College, when you spotted the original A7 tag (that I hadn't got round to removing) and deleted again. To avoid a wheel war, can you sort this out for me? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 15:48, 17 November 2016 (UTC)

Looks like it was a copyvio from [5]. I'll recreate the page as a redirect to Digital Media Arts College. RickinBaltimore (talk) 15:51, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
Cool, cheers. Enjoying the mop and bucket? ;-) Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:03, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
Going along swimmingly so far, can't complain. :) RickinBaltimore (talk) 16:05, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
You haven't had a disgruntled IP haul you up to ANI yet? *sigh* I had one within ten days of passing RfA. [6] Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:08, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
I'm doing something wrong then, uh oh! RickinBaltimore (talk) 16:11, 17 November 2016 (UTC)

Edits relating to Bihar in India

Hello. I noticed you declined someone's report against Special:Contributions/117.197.104.57 at AIV, so I thought I'd tell you that it's not only blanking and general disruption, but also block evasion, at least three times over. If you check the page history of Anti-Bihari sentiment you'll find three blocked IPs there, who based on their edits obviously are the same person as 117.197.104.57, one of them blocked yesterday, and two of them blocked today. Anti-Bihari sentiment has been protected because of that editor, and both Bihar and Biharis might need protection too now, since he has turned his attention to those articles after the other one got protected. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 19:29, 18 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for that Thomas, I honestly was not aware of that. I'll block the IP and set up protection on the pages now. RickinBaltimore (talk) 19:30, 18 November 2016 (UTC)

User:Zy87 spambot?

Hey, I saw you gave a 24 hour block to this user for leaving spam messages on people's talk pages including my own. Just thought you should know he sent me an email through Wikipedia a couple of days ago with the same message that you reverted before - probably sent it to all of the others too. I'd respond myself and tell him that the spam isn't welcome, but he very well could be a bot. [Belinrahs|talktomeididit] 21:30, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, might need to give an indef then with a restriction on email. RickinBaltimore (talk) 21:32, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, RickinBaltimore. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

2008 Sichuan earthquake

Hi RickinBaltimore,

What do you make of this? Four days after your semi-protection expired the disruption started back up again. I'm not exactly sure what's going on, but it might need to be re-protected because the IP jumper is so persistent. Sro23 (talk) 15:56, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

I've protected it for a week. Hopefully they will get bored and go somewhere else. RickinBaltimore (talk) 16:03, 23 November 2016 (UTC)

RfC: Userspace protection

Hey Rick. I'm contacting you to follow-up on the RfC on userspace protection that you participated in. After a discussion at T149445, it looks like a filter is a better approach to implementing these changes. We're developing some language for a message that editors will see when the filter is triggered. Comments and suggestions on this message are welcome at the talk page. Take care, I JethroBT drop me a line 16:04, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

The IP involved genre warring. Can you block the IP? 115.164.91.192 (talk) 15:40, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

I'm hesitant to do so only because there are some good faith edits in this. Before blocking, you may want to take this to WP:AN3 first. RickinBaltimore (talk) 15:50, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks

Would hate to think I was wasting your time by contributing articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cable ties to the max (talkcontribs) 18:02, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you are speaking of? If it was the article you blanked, I simply just deleted a page blanked by the author. If you're concerned about the reason the page was originally tagged, may I suggest looking over WP:BIO to see what determines if a subject is notable? If you're looking to recreate the article, you might want to start in your draft space first, before publishing it to allow yourself to build the article with references. RickinBaltimore (talk) 18:05, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

I think we should team up

Hello, I noticed that you deleted the Peshwa Bajirao (TV series) article, saying that an another article on the same topic has already been created. But that another article named Peshwa Bajirao wasn't created already and Peshwa Bajirao (TV series) was already created. Check the revision history of both the articles and you will get the differences. And did you know that Peshwa Bajirao was redirected to another topic. Some other user removed that redirect and made content into it. Just check its first revision. Moreover, I was the first to create the article on the topic. Now it's a kind request to revert all the edits of Peshwa Bajirao to the first revision and restore the Peshwa Bajirao (TV series) article. Mr. Smart ℒION☎️09:02, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the catch on that. As you can see, I restored the TV Series page and reverted the redirect. RickinBaltimore (talk) 01:51, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

Rajivkilanashrestha (talk) 18:54, 9 December 2016 (UTC) yes some one name with User:Damien2016 editing frequently in page of Madhesh which was not relevant information on this topic. I did talk with the same user that to stop posting like this but he/she said that he/she is not care about National sentiment of Nepal. Should i blocked this user forever to protect right to get true information.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Rajivkilanashrestha (talkcontribs) 18:54, December 9, 2016 (UTC)

No, you cannot block an editor you disagree with. You need to discuss this on the talk page of the article to get a consensus. I will say that if you continue to remove information from the article without a discussion, you may be blocked from editing yourself. Discuss this on the talk page first. Block Help

Hello Rick. I notice that you deleted previously the article PaRappa (singer), which the user who created it removed a couple of CSD tags on. This was following a previous block for removing tags and re-creating articles. I have raised this at ANI and wonder if you can help delete the newly re-created article and block the user. Thanks for your help! TheMagikCow (talk) 12:48, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Sock?

I reported a sock with an unknown master and you immediately indeffed him. Was wondering if you could tell me who that was so I know what to look for in the future? Tesla (talk) 21:44, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

I saw that, and I believe this is Nsmutte, as they are notorious for harassing bonadea. I of course could be wrong, but that's a sock activity if I ever saw one. If you see it again, file a case at SPI to get it verified to be sure. RickinBaltimore (talk) 21:50, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip - I dug around and found that sockpuppeteer myself after leaving that message, and it sounds like them alright. Also, thanks for telling me about SPI - as you can see, i'm still pretty new here. Tesla (talk) 21:55, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of test pages in the userspace

I had the intention of closing Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Mitros1973/sandbox (User:Mitros1973/sandbox) and Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Mitros1973/sandbox/mitrostziavarasgr (User:Mitros1973/sandbox/mitrostziavarasgr) in the same manner as I did with Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:About daud abdikarem (Draft:About daud abdikarem). However, G2 explicitly "does not apply to pages in the user namespace" (as contributor recently pointed out to me as well). Best Regards, — Godsy (TALKCONT) 04:13, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
