License tagging for Image:Wroclaw University of Technology D20 Building.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wroclaw University of Technology D20 Building.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:07, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please take care...

[edit]

Please take care when writing biography stubs. Please format properly, add the appropriate categories, and add the appropriate stub tag. It takes someone who is not familiar with the subject 15 minutes to do what you would manage to do in three. See e.g. Kazimierz Idaszewski for an example of the information that was missing in your stub. Thanks. -- Fullstop (talk) 14:19, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:A1politechnika.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:30, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Krzysztof Baranowski article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.3 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:55, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello SETI3! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Krzysztof Baranowski - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

RlevseTalk 18:02, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'm writing on behalf of WikiProject Poland to thank you for writing this article and to let you know that, with a little expansion, it might qualify to be on Wikipedia's front page as part of WP:Did you know. The article currently is about 1200 characters (letters) long, and it would need to be at least 1500 characters. There are a few other rules as well. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:23, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of Hindu temples in Poland has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a directory. All entries without an individual article should be removed.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 03:21, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of List of Hindu temples in Poland for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article List of Hindu temples in Poland, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Hindu temples in Poland until a concensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:28, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with List of Hindu temples in Poland. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:48, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Hindu temples in Poland. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. The nominator's ethnicity and religion should be irrelevant to discussions such as these. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 07:48, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User-- Blanchardb  through marking my article List of Hindu temples in Poland has made a mistake. There were no logical and objective reasons for such an action. But obviously he's unable to recognize it. He wants a revenge instead by repeatedly deleting my article without any reasons, and in my opinion his behaviour is completely incompatible with his desire to become an administrator of Wikipedia.
But you're right that my remarks about -- Blanchardb  were too rude and unnecessary in such a discussion. I've already told him I'm sorry for some remarks I've written. SETI3 (talk) 12:25, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think I've implied rather clearly that the main reason (only reason, really) why I've nominated the article for deletion was that the entries in it didn't have their own articles. Had you proved me wrong earlier, you would have saved both of us a lot of headaches. The articles seem to be adequately referenced, and that they were created by you makes no difference whatsoever.

This said, next time please take some time to figure out the real motives of other editors before jumping to conclusions. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 18:37, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've always assumed good faith of other editors. But in your case you've nominated ONLY one of numerous similar articles without any serious reasons. You didn't assume yourself my good faith when I removed your notice from my article and explained that you had been wrong. Instead, you nominated my article one more time and initiated a discussion which led to the conclusion that NOBODY supported your opinion. Now you are claiming your good faith in this affair. I don't believe you. SETI3 (talk) 07:17, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:A1wroclaw politechnika.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:51, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You should put references in the article where your text was added, not put the link in the edit summary. --bodnotbod (talk) 14:46, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Robert Smolańczuk has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
