Confusion
[edit]You left me a message, in which you said that I am vandalising wikipedia and you said that I also vadalised Abdul Ali Mazari artical.Listen I never visited that Abdul Ali Mazari artical before and never edited or changed any word from it! Don not do this kind of warning again!

sorry
[edit]i do not understand how is is not good what is wrong with it
No, my edit was not vandalism. It is my talk page and I don't need a pointless message saying "Welcome to Wikipedia" when I've been using Wikipedia for nearly 3 years now. So if I want to blank my own talk page, it is of no consequence to you. Stop reverting it.
hey...what?
[edit]the first time i edited dwyane wade's article, i had a typo, and it made it an external link, which someone undid.
i realized it a minute later, and fixed it. it had been pointing to his favorite movie as the page "boomerang" -- about the wooden tool. i changed it to point to boomerang_(film), which has since been changed back.
i don't see why it was changed back, as i did improve the article, fixing a broken link.
alright, thanks.
UPDATE Ironically, my post was just vandalized. :)
I would appreciate an answer!
[edit]Please respond to my comments regarding the use of Liberation versus Invasion regarding Iraq. Just a summary of what my point is :
Words have meaning. Words the MSM uses that are demeaning
and discouraging and what should replace them are:
Wrong "Invasion" - Correct " liberation" (Remember the Public Law 105-338 the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998. It wasn't called the Iraq Invasion Act!) Wrong "invaders" - Correct "liberators" Wrong: Insurgents - Correct " thugs", Wrong "freedom fighters" - Correct "barbarians". Your totally biased use of negative terms like above certainly shows you talk the talk but you definitely don't walk the talk! Send me your responsed to kayremember@yahoo.com
Sir, that is your POV and there is no room for peoples POV at wikipedia. We are an encyclopedia, not a blog. If you believe that the words should be changed to what you want them to say, bring it up on the talk page. If they agree with you, then it can be changed, if they do not, then it can not be changed. Have a nice week and God bless:). --†Sir James Paul† 02:38, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Blanking one's talk page isn't vandalism
[edit]As you indicated here. Discussion page vandalism is is one type of vandalism, but a user's own talk page is specifically excluded from that definition.--Chaser - T 07:02, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Fred_Thompson
[edit]There is an edit war going on at Fred_Thompson. I have added some information sourced to a major newspaper but Thompson's supporters seem determined to keep it out. I don't know what's the right course of action usually taken under these circumstances but a page lock with the information in might be a good idea. --JGoldwater 18:32, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- First of all, do not edit war. Edit warring does not help, it only causes stress. I have made that mistake before, so I know it does not help. I have not looked at the nature of your edits to the Fred Thompson article but policy says that bio's of living people says that article must be sourced with reliable, verifiable resources, must be NPOV, and must not have original research. If your edits do not meet all of these things, then it can not be in the article. To verify what I said, you can take a look at WP:BLP. I hope I helped. Have a nice week and God bless:)--†Sir James Paul† 02:17, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

You're giving orders to God? That's fairly brassy. Anyway, the issue with that article is over Tecmobowl's personal link whose purpose is to sell baseball cards. He and others want it to stay, I and others don't think it belongs. I don't know what else to say about it. Baseball Bugs 09:30, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Worse in what way? It always comes back to what he wants, and the rest of us be damned. Baseball Bugs 08:35, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- You're right. Do I have your permission to delete your followup to my comment, as part of deleting my comment? Or, you may do it yourself, if you want. Baseball Bugs 09:04, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, I mean on the Shoeless Joe Jackson talk page. Tecmo has been sulking since the admins slapped down his request for "arbitration" against the admin Irishguy, so maybe I could zap my needlessly inflammatory comments (and the responses) before he decides to get back on. I know he won't be happy in any case, since an IP address reverted him on his pet article Tecmo Super Bowl, which is where he gets his user ID from, I presume. Please note that, the opposite of Tecmo, I never delete comments from my own talk page, other than outright vandalism (which is rare), until I do an archive, as per the guidelines. (Speaking of which, I just did an archive, as the page was getting lengthy) That also saves me from having to write essays explaining my behavior, as Tecmo did recently on his own talk page. Baseball Bugs 09:11, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Done. I let Mondegreen's comments stand, as it's her place to delete them, or not. And now I'll take the page off my watch list again. (It auto-updates the "watch" flag when I do an update.) Baseball Bugs 09:18, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Medcab
[edit]Thank you for letting me know. Actually I was not aware that I was involved in a Medcab request for that article. It appears someone has signed me up for it without letting me know. Lsi john 11:31, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've removed the article from my watchlist. It's obvious to me that there will be no compromise and hence no resolution. I was unaware that a mediation had been requested and 'one' single link is certainly not worth the time and energy that has been spent on it. I felt (and still do) that the link is reasonable and adds value to the article, but I've never been interested in 'fighting' to keep it in the article. There are simply much better things to do with our time.
- I appreciate your efforts and hope that we meet again under other conditions. Best Regards. Peace.Lsi john 13:01, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

If it is my own talk page (communication between me and someone else), I don't understand why it's rude to remove it... as the issue at hand had been covered and rectified. For me personally; I find it quite confusing being there. When I logon and see I have new messages I want to be able to see those before anything else, instead of the small talk I had with somebody two weeks ago. Especially talk that I will likely never need to re-read again in the future, as I understand what the other user was trying to explain to me. Rotting9 Twinkle[edit]Hi! I saw you're using Twinkle.
