Draft: Aditya Tiwari
Hi,
I created this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Aditya_Tiwari with more references. The earlier version of this page was approved. However, it was speedily deleted as a recreation of the article that was up at AFD.
I request you to kindly look into it and help me revive the page.
This writer, author, and activist has brought about significant change in the queer space in a country like India, where “queer rights” are a lot more necessary and required. This page qualifies and should be included on Wikipedia because this person has sufficient notability to be here. Tiwari is now far more notable as of February 2021.

- Plushwiki21 these are newer sources so creating Aditya Tiwari again is potentially okay as, with the new sources, it may not be eligible for G4. That being said, the depth of coverage on these sources isn't that strong as it's mostly just passing mentions or brief quotes from Tiwari. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 05:29, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

AfD
Dear User WP:AFDHOWTO. I am afraid is far too complex for me. Now I see that I should have connected most of the fictitious articles on Nonouti together, to avoid discrepancies. Nevertheless, thanks again.--Arorae (talk) 21:40, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Arorae - yeah, it's tedious and complex, which is why I use WP:TWINKLE, which creates AfDs automatically. All you need to do is type the reason for deletion, and it does the rest. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 21:41, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Arorae if you look at WP:AFDHOWTO, on the box on the right hand side, it shows you how you can use Twinkle to start AfDs. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 21:44, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for your welcome message. Indeed I am struggling with other user constantly reverting my changes without any explanation. The problem is that the current text is simply incorrect. I tried to discuss it with him but he ignores my message. What can I do please?

WikiCup 2021 September newsletter
The fourth round of the competition has finished with over 500 points being required to qualify for the final round. It was a hotly competitive round with two contestants, The Rambling Man and Epicgenius, each scoring over 3000 points, and six contestants scoring over 1000. All but one of the finalists achieved one or more FAs during the round, the exception being Bloom6132 who demonstrated that 61 "in the news" items produces an impressive number of points. Other contestants who made it to the final are Gog the Mild, Lee Vilenski, BennyOnTheLoose, Amakuru and Hog Farm. However, all their points are now swept away and everyone starts afresh in the final round.
Round 4 saw the achievement of 18 featured articles and 157 good articles. Bilorv scored for a 25-article good topic on Black Mirror but narrowly missed out on qualifying for the final round. There was enthusiasm for FARs, with 89 being performed, and there were 63 GARs and around 100 DYKs during the round. As we start round 5, we say goodbye to the eight competitors who didn't quite make it to the final round; thank you for the useful contributions you have made to the Cup and Wikipedia, and we hope you will join us again next year. For other contestants, remember that any content promoted after the end of round 4 but before the start of round 5 can be claimed in round 5. Remember too that you must claim your points within 14 days of "earning" them.
If you are concerned that your nomination, whether it be for a good article, a featured process, or anything else, will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed (remember to remove your listing when no longer required). Many thanks at Spiderone for your message.
In response to your inquiry, I wish to humbly state as follows:
1. Writing on Wikipedia started as a matter of interest. I have always loved to contribute in a writing community so Wikipedia was a great way to start off. I wanted to do something that I love without duress while learning new things. I write as a hobby, for development and not for payment.
2. I am not a paid advocate here on Wikipedia. As regards the Chinmark Group, I made my research on the company and found out that both the company and the chairman meets the notability requirements of Wikipedia. I developed interest and began to write about it, while using other well-rated articles as parent-guides. I am also a very fast typist, very good with the computer (as I have a Diploma and certification) in it and thus my speed in article creation.
3. I have no access to the Chinmark Group or any of their representatives. I am a student of the University of Benin, International Relations and currently living on campus. As a matter of fact, writing here on Wikipedia has been a way to develop and harness my writing skills which is highly needed for my field. Chinmark Group has no means of even reaching out to me or me to them.
4. Chinmark Group is one of the most notable conglomerates in Nigeria. I didn't think that I would encounter such an issue writing on a topic of high notability on the internet.
5. I made an immediate edit to the page because my whole day was booked for classes so I had to use the early hours of the morning to see if the issue on the page can be rectified. I never wanted to go back on the subject-matter to enable me focus on other things here in school and thus my seemingly hastiness.
6. I greatly apologize if any action(s) here raised concerns but sincerely, I do not get paid writing on Wikipedia.
7. I have never had an issue editing here on Wikipedia. I write on areas of interest i.e mostly Gospel Artistes and Music. As a student, topics of deeper research could affect my studies by consuming a lot of my time so I opt in for topics that are easier to create.
8. If I am being paid, what stops me from doing the right thing? I would follow the guidelines to avoid harassment and tag as a'dishonest individual'
Many thanks.
I hope this meets you well

Hi Spiderone, I see you have filed an SPI against User:Cluuz. I, too, have reported them in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Astro valiy last week. Looks like, the two reports can be merged, although I don't know the correct merge procedure here.--Chanaka L (talk) 01:33, 13 September 2021 (UTC)

female football player
Dear @Spiderone: , are you interested to create the page of Karina Pelikánová who signed professional contract with Anderlecht, the champion of Belgium and played official games in the Belgium's Super League Vrouwenvoetbal? Player profile at GlobalSportArchive Thanks Hugok47 15 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hugok47 as discussed before, she meets neither WP:NFOOTBALL nor WP:GNG. Her appearances for her country are at youth level not the senior level. Anderlecht is not playing in a league listed at WP:FPL. I can find some coverage of her but it's quite brief. You may wish to start an article on her at WP:AfC instead. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:25, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
The article Ali Joudaki has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sir Sputnik (talk) 15:56, 18 September 2021 (UTC)

Glasnost the Game
Dear Spiderone
I happen to be the inventor of Glasnost the Game which was produced in Cyprus (not Greece) in the early 90s in 4,000 copies. I was surprised to see that after more than 10 years, the page was deleted. But more surprised I was to read the arguments upon which the decision was grounded. For example, one said that only 100 copies were produced, when the Game's page says explicitly that OLY 100 were still available as ORIGINALS. Another said that newspapers cannot be verified, or were probably hoax, or that probably it was self promotion and that the inventor contacted the newspapers!
A different person asked why this articles was not in the Greek wikipedia. An invalid question given the fact that the inventor happens to be of Greek origin but he lived in Germany when the game was invented and subsequently in the US.
Someone else also said: "Also since this game originates in Greek-speaking Cypress" This is wrong. If this person spend a moment to read the article, it said that the inventors were in Germany and in the US. And there is no country called Cypress!
I use wikipedia almost everyday because I always believed it was truly based on crowdsourcing and verification.
I am not the one who created that page, and I know very little of how wikipedia works. But I would appreciate a little bit more seriousness and respect, along with your advice and/or initiative to restore the page. The fact that the Glasnost the Game page was deleted after another surprising deletion of a page (Yiannis Laouris) that my followers created almost 20 years ago is also no coincidence and suspicious. It looks as if someone is trying first to delete the page of me, and subsequently other where my name appeared. That much for transparency in Wikipedia?
- If you use wikipedia almost everyday, what's your other account? This account has only been used to ask this of at least four different editors, in addition to asking of the article about yourself, which Anthony Appleyard answered Star Mississippi 17:58, 24 September 2021 (UTC)

Farhat Bashir article
Hello Spiderone, Just a quick message to say that I'm just in the middle of some training and we're working on the Farhat Bashir article at the moment. I understand why it might be flagged, but please could you give us a little more time (an hour or so). I hadn't realised it was in the main space and we are just sorting out things now. Many thanks Lajmmoore (talk) 16:43, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
- Lajmmoore you aren't the creator of Farhat Bashir nor have you edited it. Are you admitting that User:Femonics is also your account? If so, why are you using two different accounts to edit and why have you not disclosed this clearly on both user pages? Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 16:52, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

- Lajmmoore why are you on a training zoom call with another editor? Are you in some way connected to each other? Are you being compensated, financially or otherwise, for your edits to Sara Gill, Farhat Bashir and other articles where you and Femonics overlap? Also, you are not supposed to draftify an article while it is up for AfD but you can participate in the deletion discussion if you wish to explain why Farhat Bashir is notable. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 17:13, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Spiderone, no I am not being paid. I am volunteering as part of WikiProject Women in Red. The connection comes because of this WIR event - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Ada_Lovelace_Day/Pakistan. AfDs do get draftified, and I thought it circumspect to move it to draft now the new editors could continue to work on it. Lajmmoore (talk) 17:18, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

I saw on ANI that you listed copyvio (PD copying) as a concern. Did you find enough instances (5) to warrant a formal review? Sennecaster (Chat) 13:29, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
