- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 12:46, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

TheBritinator (talk) 17:25, 9 February 2024 (UTC)I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
tag from Norton CleanSweep, which you proposed for deletion. I added references to establish notability of the article subject, I also solved other article issues. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}}
back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Pavlor (talk) 07:56, 19 February 2024 (UTC)

The Herald (Benison) (talk) 18:39, 11 March 2024 (UTC)Short stubs
[edit]Hi. At the time in the early 2000s to around 2011 it seemed like the project had massive systematic bias problems. I simply did what I could at the time in identifying notable topics and blue linking them. It was more a planting seeds thing at the time, but unfortunately non-anglo countries don't get much attention on here so many haven't been expanded yet. Thanks for expanding the stub. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:25, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
Redirecting Oracle Life Sciences
[edit]Hi there! Just letting you know that I have reverted your redirect of Oracle Life Sciences to Oracle Corporation. As the proposed deletion failed/was contested, doing a bold redirect of the article is not appropriate. You will need to build a consensus on the article talk page, or submit the article for deletion. Tim (Talk) 03:25, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
Removing release history sections
[edit]<< See WP:NOTCHANGELOG - Wikipedia is not a collection of every single update and version history. >>
Yes, it mostly is. Source: articles on a bazillion other software apps, services, programming languages, and more. Stop paying attention to WP: features that kill the usefulness of wikipedia. Look up various other browsers, libreoffice, Windows, MacOS, VirtualBox, MySQL, various flavors of Linux, etc. The "release history" section is all over the place. It just doesn't need to be super-granular. pepp5 (talk) 06:54, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. If you include update history you're supposed to summarize the major releases not just include every single release - "A list of every version/beta/patch is inappropriate. Consider a summary of development instead." If you want that, there's other places to look, such as GitHub or the software website and documentation. We're an encyclopedia, not a database. For example, macOS version history only includes the major releases and not like macOS 14.4.1. StreetcarEnjoyer (talk) 16:41, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Screenshot of Mac App Store front-page on 27 December 2023.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Screenshot of Mac App Store front-page on 27 December 2023.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:43, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
Deletion review for Janno Lieber
[edit]An editor has asked for a deletion review of Janno Lieber. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Per your request in trying to close the other discussion: I've taken it to DRV and if the vote supports I won't undo the close. -- railrider12 16:02, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
